If you haven't created an Amazon registry yet I recommend one for the welcome box. I did it solely for the completion discount and yesterday I received my welcome box. It's so much nicer than the target welcome box. Besides all the samples I received a muslin swaddle blanket, a cute elephant onesie, and a bandanna bib. I'm so impressed! I have an amazon registry and did not get a welcome box. Is there something special I need to do to get one? You need to complete their checklist by adding something from each category or marking it complete. Then spend $10 from your registry.

imapenguin - Here is the Amazon link to the product: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0035RQF54/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&th=1notmoose - It's a door latch where you can control if the child can open their door or not. I figured it may be a good option for you guys at night if you didn't want him wandering around. That's what we used it for since DS's room is right next to the stair case. However, you can choose to release the latch or not and use the safeguard whenever you see fit. Ahh okay, that's cool I might get that!

I’m glad the Amazon welcome boxes are good! I did a registry with them last pregnancy and the box was lame. I did start another registry for #2 but it currently only has like 4 items on it because honestly I need/want almost nothing. But maybe now I’ll actually complete it because I like free things.

Once you do that you should be able to go to your registry, scroll down, and there will be a message that says claim your welcome box. Click that and your box will arrive within 2 weeks.

Is it 1:30 yet? My back hates me today. I'm going to take tylenol and a warm bath when I get home.

Slow day at work. I just might set up an Amazon registry. I'm afraid this baby will get nothing new without the welcome box

My kid ate all of his normal breakfast plus cereal and then was still screaming to eat in the car so he got my snacks too. Now I have no snacks.

I broke down and bought tylenol even though I have some at home. One pill hasn't had any effect. Tylenol is so worthless. It was a 500mg extra strength too. I think I'm straining my back muscles too much, especially on the left side. The whole stretching out from pregnancy thing isn't helping either.

You can't take anything good while pregnant which is a cruel joke!
Have you considered wearing a support belt to alleviate the pressure on our back? Standing and lifting are so strenuous during pregnancy.

I think I may need to. Also a body pillow in bed would probably help too. It seems like this happens once a week and last time it started when I was trying to go to sleep. Like, a back pain/spasm every 15 seconds doesn't make for drowsiness 😡. Dumb body. It's not super painful, but super annoying.

A pillow between my legs while sleeping helps my hip and back tremendously. I'm just worried that you have months left to go and annoying can quickly turned to debilitating. I hope you can find a way to manage it soon! I really do feel for you dealing with this in the second trimester already.

goldenbird +1 to the support belt and body pillow (and tylenol being useless!). you have to have something between your knees at night to keep your hips aligned properly. you don't need one of the expensive pregnancy ones-- just an XL one like this. also topical magnesium spray (or epsom salt baths), prenatal yoga (tons of free videos on youtube), and heating pads. heating pads are great for easing back pain, especially. ETA: plug the heating pad in behind your bed so you can use it at nighttime. even a lot of the inexpensive ones now have auto-shutoff so you can turn it on before you fall asleep and it will turn off by itself.

Thanks y'all. I'll check those out. So far the pain has happened a week apart, but I know that it will become more frequent as my belly gets bigger.

I've been in a couple bad car wrecks which make it a v v common thing in my life. My best solutions: Body pillow (I have one on each side of me so I don't have to take the pillow every time I turn over) Warm baths with Epsom salts at least once a week (lately I take one like 4 times a week) Heating pad Biofreeze - if you've never tried it it's like a better version of icy hot Massages (just from MH but a real one would probably be nice)

I am so lost on names. Like, I scrapped my whole list and we have nothing solid now. I don't even have set middle names. I just asked Facebook, that's how desperate I am.

Time to revive the names post again? I love coming up with names, I have a whole list even though we’re already solidified our LO’s.

This child has two settings: Inside the right side of my rib cage or down inside my pelvis. There is no comfortable middle. I can't even sit anymore...

Ooooh I love talking about names! Especially if it’s not for my own kid... that I agonize over. Because I’m a newbie I missed out on the name discussion earlier so I’d be happy to partake in another one.

You just keep it under the covers with you, it's just like having another person in bed with you. I can align my hips and also prop up my belly.

Mine chills transverse all up in my ribs. Whenever I rest my arms or phone on my stomach the baby kicks my bladder. This kid is already a jerk. 😉

Someone at work walked into my office with a fever. Cue face mask, asking them to disinfect, wiping everything with Lysol wipes, and spraying disinfectant around. Too much?

Blah. I bought a chopped salad on Wednesday that we just ate. My company has been pretty on top of the recall though and isn't bringing anything in that they aren't sure of. So FX it is ok.
