I am so tired. I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping and it's catching up to me. I don't know how much longer I can survive on 3-4 hours a night. I'm not sure what time I finally fell asleep last night but I slept through all my alarms, a toddler and my H and woke up at 9:30am I can’t wait until I can sleep in this weekend. When I wake up to pee at like 3am on weekdays, I can’t fall back asleep until I have to get up for work in 20 minutes. It’s bullshit.

@brienne That would be awful. FX you get lots of good sleep this weekend!

I’ve just accepted that my body will never sleep into the 6am hour again. I’m just happy if I make it past 5.
I used to be such a night owl and could sleep in forever. Who am I.

Crazy week it has been. DS had a fever Saturday that just kept getting higher and higher, would barely budge with meds. Waking up each night crying, ending up in bed with me, rolling around all night. Luckily it's over now and he has been back to normal sleep since Wednesday morning.
Had weekly ultrasound this morning and everything looked great. Baby is measuring on track and had heartbeat of 160. I think I will still be with RE for another 2-3 weeks. I went ahead and scheduled obgyn appointment for 10 weeks since I will be going to a new one.
Dr today gave me samples of Bonjesta, which I think is basically the same as diclegis. I'm a little worried about it making me drowsy the next day but we shall see. Anyone taken it before?

What's everyone's weekend plans?! Mine = SLEEP It is supposed to snow here tomorrow! I’m so sick of being stuck in the house. We don’t have any plans except for DS has “soccer” (more like he tromps around a gym whining about having to follow directions) tomorrow morning. MH is OOT for a few months for work so extra sleep is a no-go here. I have told him at least 300 times that when he gets back I will be sleeping for a week and he may only bother me to bring me food lol.

We’re going to our cabin, which is about 2.5 hours away. It’s going to be interesting dodging alcoholic drinks all weekend. Hoping I can pass it off as you goons have fun, I’ll chase around the 3-year-old and make sure she doesn’t fall into the creek. Excited to be off the grid, though!

I was supposed to have a play date this morning, and I had no idea how I was going to find the energy... but they just asked to reschedule so I’m going to nap and hopefully run errands today. Weather canceled plans for tomorrow so I’m going to rest and try to get some unpacked around the house. Sunday we have church, and (weather permitting) PokémonGo has a community day. 😂

We have friends coming over tomorrow to help us move stuff we’ve been keeping in the garage into the basement and to grill steaks. I’ll be toddler wrangling. Not sure about Sunday yet.

On Sunday I’m going to a baby shower for a college friend. Should be fun to catch up with everyone! And I can scope out the cool new baby accessories that they didn’t have 3 years ago 😊

Tomorrow is gymnastics in the morning and Trader Joe’s in the afternoon, among other errands. It’s supposed to pour rain all day, so I’m hoping we can be somewhat lazy.
Sunday is my birthday! I’m sleeping in (or “sleeping out,” as my 4yo calls it), and then brunch and hopefully a pedicure. My feet are...not presentable for sandal season.

Happy early birthday codypup! I have grand plans of getting through the laundry that’s been piling up for 2 weeks 😬 tomorrow. Then Sunday we have dinner plans for my fil’s 70th and bil’s 30th birthdays. I’m also really hoping to get a nap in at some point, but that’s unlikely.

We are having horribly severe weather today with tornado warnings popping up everywhere. I’m not used to this anymore since I moved up North for more than half my life.
This is definitely an adjustment. Welcome home 😂

I had my first OB appt on Thursday, and baby looks good! Hb of 147, and wiggling. They measured at 7wks, (I have 7w3d) so I have a dating u/s next week to get a *definite* due date. Reglan is somewhat working, but I’m now having lightheadedness and am so exhausted all the time, so it’s a give and take. Just trying to keep plugging along. H got to see baby too, so that was nice. I’m scheduling an appt with perinatology (MFM) for two weeks from now (if they can get me in, and not mess things up), and then see my OB two weeks from then, middle of May.
I’m having anxiety over not seeing my dr that often, as my last pregnancy I went in every week, since I was high risk.
I’m also debating taking 4-5wks of sick time at work (I have 6wks because of our sick leave bank, and my contract ends June 30, so I can’t use it after baby 😭). I’m hoping that if I can get through first tri, maybe my HG won’t be so bad it let up a little during second tri last time.
I think we’ve also decided that I’m going to go on unemployment until baby is here, and then look for a job. It’s too hard being so sick right now.

We’ve had a mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow all day today. Switching over to snow overnight and tomorrow. I’m so, so sick of this!

Sorry to all of you still dealing with snow and cold weather.
I’m stressed. I forgot to pick up my progesterone this morning and the pharmacy is closed until Monday. It’s compounded and I can’t find a compounding pharmacy in the whole city that is open tomorrow. I know probably everything will be fine just missing two doses, but I am an anxious ball of nerves. I called my OB and the on call nurse was not too reassuring.

I was unable to speak with the doctor and the nurse on call didn’t offer that (she was pretty rude), and just told me that without knowing what my levels are now, she can’t promise anything and to just take it first thing Monday. I didn’t have much faith in her answer, but don’t really know what else I can do.

Well, I ended up paying to talk to an OB on JustAnswer because my anxiety was taking over. Thankfully, he said I should be fine since I’m taking it for prevention as opposed to treatment.

Good news Dr. Cox! I probably would’ve paid for some peace of mind too. I hope you can relax a little until you get your meds tmrw. Sorry that happened. 😕

DD helped her Dad fish for the first time ever this weekend. Except when the worm came into view, she was gone 😂 She decided bubbles with Mom would be more fun. lol.
I had some stabby pains last night. Was pretty certain I’d call my OB and end up in the ER today, once back on our home turf. Buuuuut, the stabby has stopped. For now. It wasn’t double-over kind of pain. It felt like someone took a needle and gave a little jab. Felt it a handful of times. Still pretty certain another EP, but we’ll see what tonight / tomorrow / the next day brings.
