What's new this week?
I ordered 3 pairs of maternity jeans from Old Navy online during their jeans sale yesterday... fingers crossed at least one works. Why do all of Target's skinny jeans have holes in the knees? Like seriously, WTF. The whole maternity clothes thing boggles my mind every time around. It's like you have a third leg and stores are like-- "jeans with three legs!!! ha ha ha! why would we carry that in our store? that's just bizarre!"

I know! I found some stretchy jeans at BJs so I bought 2 pairs. I also have a pair of maternity jeans from DD that I have been wearing. So comfy. Haha. I washed all of my maternity shirts, but I don't really need them yet.

I bought a pair of maternity jeans at ON and finally wore them yesterday. They were a little big yet but so comfortable. I need to dig out my old maternity clothing and start sorting through it. I think I’ll need them soon as I’ve noticed some growth this past weekend.

I have two maternity jeans the currently fit. One is jeggings and I’m positive they won’t last the entire pregnancy. And the other one is jeans with holes. I hate them but they are the only ones fitting right now.

I did find a pair that I liked at Motherhood that I'll order a few of soon. One at Target was ok but the extra fabric bunched really bad at the spot where the fake pockets were. And the ankle on it was so tight I almost couldn't get them on & off. They were skinny jeans, but good grief. My ankles aren't going to stay thin. 😣

In less than a week I’ll be boarding a plane with a 2yo, 5yo, and a husband who doesn’t handle things well that don’t go exactly according to plan, all while 20w pregnant. Any thoughts you can spare for me would be greatly appreciated! Suggestions also welcome — the kids have never flown and I haven’t flown pregnant before.
I am excited for our last vacation as a family of four, as long as we can get through the trip there with no major hiccups.

I am excited for our last vacation as a family of four, as long as we can get through the trip there with no major hiccups. We've flown with DS twice. The first time he was only 1 so I basically baby wore him the entire time and he was fine. When we flew last year he was 2, I packed his own backpack with tons of snacks and some new toys to keep him busy on the plane. I'm not sure if you plan on getting a car rental, but if you do I would suggest that you bring your own car seats because you never know the history of the car seat that's inside a rental. Also make sure that your currents car seats are FAA certified for aircraft use. I know it can get a little overwhelming but just give yourself extra time at the airport and enjoy yourselves!

But I figure I'll only be in jeans a few more weeks before it gets too hot for long pants in AZ, right? Then it'll be all the shorts and dresses.

tarheelmom raid the Target dollar section or Dollar Tree, get something new for every 15 min you'll be on the plane. We also got those big Melissa & Doug reusable sticker pads, which were a big hit I also love car seats on the plane. They can't try and unbuckle the airplane seatbelt and it's a familiar thing. I don't know wjat your seat plans are, but please don't check your car seats. It voids the warrenty because you don't know what happens to them, just like you have to replace even in minor accidents. We have a car seat cart so it doubles as kind of a stroller for the airport

I went to target last week to get some new maternity tops and their selection was horrible! I remember it being better 3 years ago. I'm mostly wearing my old maternity clothes but I need some stuff for the summer since DS was a spring baby.

We're touring two daycares this week and hopefully will like one enough to enroll. Both are only a few miles from our house which is great. MH WFH so he will be doing drop off every morning. I plan to come home from work and change, maybe eat or cook before picking up since I get off so early.

It's definitely a good idea to have child care close to your house if possible. I have a few kids in my room whose parents chose us because we are close to their work. But if they have a day off or are sick and still need us, it is 20-30 minutes one way.

One of my friends hooked me up with some maternity clothes! She just had her 2nd baby back in November. She gave me a huge bag of clothes! Super excited to have more variety in my maternity wear now!
And yes to daycare close to home! So many co-workers have asked why I'm not looking at daycares near work. Um, I WFH 1 day a week (hoping to up that to 2 after baby is born), all our doctor's appointments would be near our house, and H and I work in opposite directions. Going with a daycare close to where I work (which is easily a 35-40 minute commute each way) would make no sense for us! We're on the waitlist for our first choice daycare, which is less than 2 miles from our house.

I have now been in the same conference room for 11 hours.. Only time I have escaped was for the bathroom. My back is destroyed and I have a really annoying pain in my side. We just decided we would break in 2 hours if we aren’t at a stopping point sooner. I may not survive until then😢😢

I spent $75 at motherhood yesterday. All I got was a shirt and a bra. 🙄😐
I'm feeling down about how I look today. I just feel fat and gross.

I have to hem all the maxis I've bought. It's like no clothing manufacturer realizes that petite women would also like to wear maxi dresses. notmoose, check out thredup. It's an online consignment shop that has some maternity stuff.

I'm mostly wearing my old maternity clothes but I need some stuff for the summer since DS was a spring baby. I'm having a terrible time too. I bought one shirt on clearance a few weeks ago, washed it and hung it up to dry, and had to take it back because it shrunk so much it didn't even cover my bump. I let my sister borrow my maternity clothes from DD(5) and she sent them back plus some of hers, but most of mine were sleeveless since she was a fall baby on SoCal. Some of my stuff was worn out or my sister wore them out because she had 2 babies. I basically have enough to make it through 1 week and it's be nice to find a few extra shirts

I was at target a couple weeks ago and had the exact same experience - I couldn’t find a single item that I liked. I’m going to have to figure out something soon. After two winter babies, I have lots of pants, leggings, sweaters and hoodies, but they’re not going to cut it with a July baby. All of the trees are budding out already and I’m having trouble finding anything lightweight that fits.

Wow catspajamas2 I hope you get out of there soon!! Are you eating OK? Thanks klw. We finally wrapped up so I am going to eat a granola bar in my room and go to bed. The rest of the team went out but I am too tired. Thanks for letting me whine here.

I got this shirt in blue and black at Kohls a couple weeks ago. It's not my fav, but it's long so I'll take it. It's the only thing I've found so far that's halfway decent this time besides maternity yoga pants www.kohls.com/product/prd-2934897/product.jsp

Long enough to cover my butt and the ruching is super flattering, plus it’s thin enough to make it through Spring. . www.target.com/p/maternity-3-4-sleeve-lace-up-sweatshirt-isabel-maternity-by-ingrid-isabel-emerald-green-xl/-/A-52949825
