Ninja. You won't regret it. Our coffee maker is leaking now. After 10 + years I don't mind. I was going to replace it with a Cuisinart again. But there are a lot of things I dislike about it (filling the water is a pain even when you are right handed). I'm going to be crazy and opt for an expensive machine that is highly rated. We use it every day and I really don't have time for fancy coffee. Plus it comes with a 4 year warranty. www.amazon.com/dp/B0055P70MQ?ref=emc_b_5_tWe don't splurge on a lot of appliances, but for something we are going to use everyday I want a good machine. Plus it looks easier to clean, which is a big con with my current machine. I want one of these simply so I can pick between the 16 colors available.

That price point is way out of our budget for a new coffee maker.
I'm loving the kitchenaid but I'm unhappy about a 2h carafe heat. Another cuisinart has a 4h auto off setting, but the size of the reservoir opening paired with my ineptness with my right hand is also problematic.
I'll take a look at the Ninja and see how I feel. I know how much everyone loves it, but we don't need anything with a lot of extra gadgets either.

We have the stainless steel carafe and use the pre-infusion mode that pre wets the grounds to allow degassing before brewing. It doesn't have a pot warmer, but that doesn't bother us. www.amazon.com/Bonavita-BV1900TS-Carafe-Coffee-Stainless/dp/B00O9FO1HK

It is a smaller system (8 cups), and it looked a little harder to clean. Filter size is different as well.

I'm hours late to this, but since I've missed the coffee train I can report what I had to drink with my lunch: a mango lassi from an Indian street food truck under the freeway. It was great.

It came with a couple packets to run through for cleaning. As for the carafe, we just rinse it with hot water and call it clean.

We have a 20+ year old Mr. Coffee that does nothing fancy but makes great drip coffee and we keep returning to it when newer coffee makers inevitably disappoint. We have it coupled with a WeMo wifi plug so we can have it turn on/off on a timer.

I left early to pick up DS and stopped at Caribou Coffee for one of those drinks that is essentially dessert. Now I've got 20 mins to sit in my car and enjoy alone. 👌🏻👌🏻

We got a market umbrella for our deck, and I am really looking forward to sitting out there with a glass of wine when I get home. But it's only 3pm.

I went with the kitchenaid one touch. I'll let you know how I like it.
