Found out I was pregnant in August, series of u/s in September showed us the fetus had stopped growing and had no heartbeat. Finally started the actual m/c in October when I was 10w \1d. I bled for about 3 weeks; after about a week it was heavy enough to land me in the ER. About 3 weeks after I stopped bleeding (6 weeks after my m/c started), I got my first post-m/c period. It was a little heavy but fairly normal in duration. 2 weeks later (Thanksgiving) I started spotting and it has now turned into a full-blown period again. WTH? Am I just going to bleed pretty much all the time from now on? Has anyone else had an experience like this? TIA.

I'm so very sorry you had to go through that. I haven't had that specific experience with any of my miscarriages, but I do remember things being fairly out of wack for a couple cycles. I think, because it took a bit longer before the m/c took place, maybe your body is still working through it? I've heard, and experienced first hand as well, that as hormone levels are dropping bleeding can start/stop for a while? Either way, I hope the bleeding stops for you soon and your cycles start to regulate soon.

It can take awhile for your body to settle down and figure out what the hell it's doing. My cycles completely changed after my loss and I had to get used to a new normal.
That said, if your cycles don't settle soon or lengthen out, you may want to give your doctor a call just to check in.
