Happy Halloween! I'm surprised there is no randoms thread yet! What does everyone have planned for today? Anything fun?

Excited for trick or treating tonight because I think DS1 will have a good time. We are going to my parents' neighborhood since it is townhomes. Bummed though that it will be in the upper 40s so his costume will be covered by a coat. Not sure what to expect from DS2 - I am going to try wearing him but I can always go back to my parents house if needed.
Last night I fell asleep twice while nursing DS2. I really try to stay awake - turn the TV on and mess with my phone but I must've been so exhausted that I couldn't stay awake even through that. We ended up spending 11:30 to 3am in the recliner... oops.

Not his costume (he'll be Luigi and DS1 will be Mario) but cute nonetheless. My little Halloween bubbs:

No spectacular plans over here. We'll be handing out candy to the (hopefully) five trick-or-treaters we get and maybe playing some games together, too.

DS1 has his parade at school. It was great. Have a work meeting but should be home by 3 for all the T or T festivities.
I’ll be missing my pumpkin beer tonight!

Rama Our neighborhood barely gets trick or treaters as well. Maybe 3 families if we are lucky. Another reason why we go to a different neighborhood for trick or treating.

DD2 and I had a lazy morning. I’m betting really good at this “nap when the baby naps” thing haha. Just made myself some lunch and watching TV while DD2 nurses.
I’m debating between taking DD1 to a few houses tonight and wearing DD2 in the K’Tan or just calling it a night since we went to a “Trunk or treat” event this past weekend. My mom guilt is eating at me about not doing fun or special things with DD1 even though at 2.5 she’d be perfectly content watching Mickey Mouse tonight.

Trick or treating at my ILs now, then going to visit my sister at work, then we’ll go to my parents after nap time and finally real trick or treating tonight! DD is a fairy and DS is Woody, they are adorable

Good morning guys... uh, afternoon.
DD and I slept off and on until noon (first kid woo hoo!) And are now laying on her dad's pillow listening to some Pandora. Big plans of showing and going to Target today me thinks. First solo outing, wish me luck!

I also fell asleep while rocking L back to sleep after nursing. Then this morning I put him in the swing and napped on the couch for a bit.
I need to go to the grocery store, but that's it until trick or treating this evening.

Taitai here - ignore the diff SN and pic - the blinds thread does Halloween costumes each year. I am Ciara taking her baby on a dangerous toboggan ride in China....fun times. Will be back to my normal cookie dough self tomorrow!
As for us - we had a nice Halloween over here. DS wore his mummy PJs and enjoyed being spooky around the house. All our festivities happened over the weekend, so it was just an average day here.

Hi all. DS had another good night in his crib. I'm starting to think I might keep having such luck (knock on wood!). I'm waiting at his 1 month checkup now and then we are getting DD to go to the trunk or treat tonight. FX both kids behave.

We went to DS1’s Halloween parade at preschool and then visited some family with the baby. Later tonight we are going to my cousin’s house to ToT because her subdivision goes all out and our street gets zero kids. DS1 is so excited.
I really want some pumpkin muffins. Thinking of texting ingredients to H to pick up while he’s out.

Baby girl has wanted to eat every two hours last night and today and she will not sleep unless she’s being held. This mama is tired.
DH is taking DS our trick or treating and the plan was MIL to come over and help me hand out candy but she is sick so it might just be me and baby. Not sure what to do if kids knock while I am BFing her. They will get treats and tricks lol

Happy Halloween! Last night we carved a pumpkin, and I baked the seeds. They actually turned out pretty good (I usually screw them up somehow), and DS likes them (which is another surprise!). Then H and I stayed up way too late watching Stranger Things. Not a lot going on today, just going trick or treating at the mall later. It's another cold MN day, so I'm very grateful that the mall does this every year. I'm also really looking forward to eating DS's candy after he goes to bed tonight.

I survived Target - and Ev did really great all things considered. However, the stupid Starbucks didn't have the stuff to make the only thing I seem to like there (I don't drink coffee normally) and the cashier told me it's seasonal so I should probably get used to not being able to get it.
She had more tact than that, but that was the gist of it. First Panera, now Starbucks.

I decided to brave it and take DD1 trick-or-treating with DD2 solo. It wa a high of like 38 degrees so I wore DD2 in the K’Tan and between my body heat and her fleece costume she was just fine. DD1 loved trick or treating and did really great walking between houses. I’m also just super proud of myself for doing it! I tend to overthink these things but I’m feeling more and more confident about handling the girls by myself.

We went to my moms house for Trick or treating since they get more kids. DD had a blast since the neighborhood is busy and she got quite the haul. Her Princess Poppy costume turned out great. I chilled with my mom while H took her out and my brother who’s been sick and working finally got to meet her. The evening didn’t start off so great but ended well enough so I’m focusing on that.
I hope everyone had a good Halloween! 🎃

I had to sit on a bench outside to feed him before I could load up the car. Some nice lady saw me as I was finishing bagging everything (shopped at Aldi, you bag your own stuff), and offered to help me to the car, loaded my groceries and took my cart so I didn't have to go back to the store.
