moonandback141 Like for the update, not for the status. I was you a week ago. It's strange but I'm actually fine in theory with being pregnant a few more days but it's the dates that get me--I want another October baby like DD and I want to go on a day where my OB is on call. I fully realize how irrational and silly this is. |

It's been rough at the dusky house now that I'm sick. Since I'm the only source of food for lil fella no one can help. I sound like Johnny Cash now 😩 Does anyone know what cough drops I can take without compromising my milk supply?

Very strange to be on the other end of things because last pregnancy I had preterm labor at 30 weeks and was worried sick about going early (and she came on her due date). But I was anxious about the same thing happening again and lo and behold it's the total opposite. |

rebeccabunch How's the new season of Crazy ExGF been? I haven't had a chance to start watching it yet, but I want to! For the most part, it’s been good! I didn’t like the second Ep as much but things felt right with the 3rd. This is the first time I’m not watching it binge style and I miss that. If I were you, I’d wait and catch up on Netflix or watch a bunch on the CW app. |

Just a nervous ftm question -
Ev hasn't been sleeping super great the last few days - I'm talking like 1 big, good nap per day and the rest really short 20 minute things after/while nursing.
It's not uncommon for her to want to sleep a lot today is it? Like, she's trying to recoup a bit? I'm just low key worried it's a sign of something I'm missing.

Thanks I did see that. My go to cough drops are ricola and there's a crap load of herbs in it and I'm just too tired to go through them all. Maybe I'll call he LC tomorrow since I wasn't able to make the BF group this am. |

cythe sounds normal to me. We experienced something very similar today - the days prior he had been awake a lot of the day and today he's been sleeping most of the day. I wouldn't worry unless you are noticing other symptoms, but trust your mom gut too. Don't feel bad calling up the pedi for peace of mind.

It's normal for nb to cat nap ( chicken nap - direct translation from my language lol! ) and frustrating for us. As long as she's not terribly fussy, satisfied after eating and normal body temp - although I think if a baby has fever, she will be sleeping lots. She should be fine. You're doing great! |

She seems totally fine besides the super sleepiness (pls don't make me eat my words overnight). I'm just extra worrisome since there's no one else here for me to bounce things off of. DS2 had his first pedi check today. He is 4 days old and already over his birth weight. Currently trying to sleep on my chest, but keeps hiccuping. My mom leaves tomorrow and I'm both super excited and nervous.

cythe Sounds totally normal to me too. Feel free to ask us anything, newborns are hard and they don’t always act according to baby books or blogs but are still acting within the range of normal.

Friendly reminder to clean the armpits well. The amount of cottage cheese this kid had was pretty gross. And this was his 3rd bath! 🙈

Today was bath day in the Cythe house. Partially because I planned it that way.
Partially because at 8 pm she puked/spit up all the breastmilk she had in her tummy.
