It was a random thought this morning as I was changing ds2 diaper...is anyone else using cloth or planning to?
I transitioned to cd once ds2 fit into nb. I LOVE using cloth.
I had intended to put ds1 back into cloth overnight when I resumed cloth for ds2, but I haven't. It is much too easy to leave him in a single disposable. He only needs a diaper for overnight. And I have a ton in his size. So I haven't swapped him back to cloth...and I'm not sure I will. But that may just be my exhaustion/laziness talking.

We're using cloth - just prefolds and covers until we put a few more lbs on. So easy

We will be transitioning once the box of newborn disposables we bought is gone! We have prefolds and covers in newborn size and then pockets

With ds1, I only used pockets. But I used aio nb until ds2 started peeing more than they held. I swapped to fitteds with covers. And let me tell you....I'm in LOVE. My entire os stash is pockets. But I'm so dreading moving into them. These fitteds and covers are SOOO easy. So much less work than pockets

Present! Still using cloth on DD1, and we're at about 50% cloth for DD2 because my NB stash is small and none of the OS stuff works just yet.
We had a mix of prefolds/covers and pockets for DD1, I actually used to think pockets were easier until I...didn't. I dunno, they stopped working as well for us as DD1 got bigger. Guess we'll see what works this time around, I've got more than enough to cloth full time once she's a little bigger.

We are in cloth most of the time. I decided to use disposable at night because dd seems to hate having a wet CD and with the rate of newborn pee, it's just easier for now until we have more overnight options available due to size.
Using both NB pockets, fitteds/covers and a few AIOs mixed in. So far the fitteds fit us best, but again she hates them when they're wet. We will figure something out eventually!

cythe I tend to save the disposables for nights for the same reason. FWIW, with DD1 we has a diaper service for the first 8 weeks, they offered AIOs and I found those worked best for us overnight at the time.

I wahm and made several heavy duty hemp inserts. They were the saving factor to us surviving overnight pee dry

We will be moving to cloth once she is out of NB diapers. I have a bunch of fuzibunz first year diapers which should fit well early on. I also have a couple pockets and fitteds/covers that we can use.
DD1 is in pockets during the day but they are getting more difficult with her wanting to sit on the potty. We have been putting her in disposable pull ups occasionally during the day and every night. She started leaking through her night diapers no matter what I stuffed them with so we switched to disposables.
