Whelp, just had our first projectile poopsplosion during a diaper change. Been hosed by pee a few times, but the projectile poo sucks. Bright orange on my IKEA white sheepskin rug! I hope I can get it out by spot cleaning.
In happy news, LO had a great first appointment with his pedi today. 6 days old and already back up to his birth weight. Now I don't have to wake every 2 hours to feed at night. Yay! Pedi said baby looks great, which was also nice to hear. 😀

It’s supposed to be beautiful here today so I’m planning on taking LO for a walk later (after our all-important morning nap!). We also need to run some errands to get some paperwork stuff around for my short term disability and to get LO officially on our insurance now that her SS card is in.

My body decided just as I was ready to go to bed to have some contractions. I knew it was just playing so I went to sleep, H woke me up twice to ask if it was time and a third to ask if he should go to work. I don’t think he remembered the first two times... dude if I’m fast asleep I’m not in labor.
DD is in daycare today and I’m going with my mom to get fabric so she can make her Halloween costume. She is going to be Princess Poppy from Trolls.

H is heading to a weekend long hunting trip in my home town so the kids and I are going to pack up and go stay with my mom. FX the baby does alright sleeping in a new environment. That's the only thing I'm nervous about. Tomorrow we are taking them to a really nice pumpkin patch and I can't wait. Hoping the weather is nice and not awfully hot for us!

August Blooms omg I probably would have killed MH. they can be so clueless sometimes lol I’m still upset over yesterday and can’t wait to see my regular OB this afternoon. And DS was up bright and early at 4:30. It’s been a shit show since then. Thank goodness it is Friday.

I'm at my follow up cardiologist appointment. We weaned down my labetelol dosage by half a couple of weeks ago. The goal is to get me off that completely and just stick with the one 24 hour dose. I'd like to eventually get off that dose all together, but that will be a longer journey than just PP hormones regulating.

Hi! Waiting to be discharged (a day early!). I can't wait to get home and take a comfortable shower. This hospital shower sucks.
Weekend baby boom! Hope to see pictures of new babies this weekend!

I handed MrRama a PS4 controller this morning and as he went to put it away, I said, "That's how big your baby is." He was super surprised and pulled it back out to compare it against my belly. Safe to say he's pretty excited.  |

Being induced tomorrow morning at 7:30am. My goal is to have a baby within 24 hours (last induction was a full 48). Fingers crossed!!

DS2 and I fell asleep after DH and DS1 left. Luckily DH called at 9:45 and woke me up or I would have missed going to the bf support group.
I need to go get more cough syrup. Other than that we just need to figure out what to do for dinner.

We are at my mom's. DS is nursing before we make a grocery store run and I'm already debating what type of beer to get myself. I think I'll let myself splurge and get a good six pack since those last me a lot longer than they used to 🤣

Pumpkin patch was mostly a success! DD had a blast and DS was really good until I tried to put him down in the patch for pictures haha. We ended up getting some good ones eventually though

Okay, I'm on a roll today. Feeling all the feels and to top it off, I crossed PP poop off my "don't make me do it" list. Ugh. There’s a huge hormone drop like 5-7 days after delivery. Obviously the pp hormones can overtake at anytime but for me this first wave is rough. It’s completely out of your control. So hard. 😘 |
