CD 12 with Femara. I have been spotting daily since AF so I’m thinking this will be a waste of a cycle. Monitoring appt on Friday. I made an RE appt for January so just chilling until then.

westiemom, I hope this cycle ends up being OK despite the spotting. My daughter is off from preschool today, vomiting and lethargic. I feel pretty lousy, but also think it's ovulation day. WHY does timing always turnout like this?

WHY does timing always turnout like this? Oh no! Timing always turns out like that! I would be tempted to just go at while puking in a bucket! I hope you both feel better soon!

I think we are still going to try at some point today; H is also home and we are both allegedly working from home.

I've been having some crazy signs of ovulation lately. I am crazy, but we're trying to time it based off that. Crazy because it's never happened in 5+ years and DH has next to nothing on his end, but we're going for it nonetheless. Otherwise waiting another 3-ish weeks before calling the RE.

westiemom, I hope everything looks good Friday, despite the spotting. twohopes, Ugh, stomach bugs are the worst. I hope everyone feels better soon and that you and YH get the chance to give it a shot. mnj05, I know it's a cliche, but you never do know. FX! AFM: {Spoiler}I got my first squinter at 5dp5dt (Monday) and have had darkening lines yesterday and today. I had a blood test Tuesday and go back for another one tomorrow (my RE doesn't share results until they have both and can see a trajectory). I still think the chances of this resulting in an actual baby are tiny, but here's hoping!

Congrats tiresiastheblond! Good luck to everyone else! My transfer is tomorrow. I'm very very nervous. I'm really worried the embryo won't survive the thaw. My RE said they lose "less than 1 out of every 10 embryos" to the freezing process but that still sounds like a lot to me. If I end up PUPO tomorrow, I'll be happy. Then a few days after that I'll start to get very nervous again, I'm sure!

I'm PUPO! I'm super relieved that the embryo survived the thaw. On to the next (and the biggest) hurdle - hoping it implants.
The embryologist said something like 95% of the cells of the embryo survived the thaw, and anything over 80% means the embryo survived. Have you all heard that before? This is my first FET, but that seemed weird.

moto, Hmmmm, strange percentages to mention to someone undergoing an FET! All that's important is that you're PUPO, congrats! tiresiastheblond, Congrats on the darkening lines...FX the blood tests agree. mnj05, Yes, you never know! Our daughter was conceived naturally 3 weeks after our 2nd dismal IVF round... westiemom, Hoping this cycle isn't a bust! twohopes, Yuck, tummy bugs suck!

AFM, 4 dark pee tests after that squinter and 2 betas last week - 115 and 269. My RE didn't need a 3rd and 1st ultrasound would've been tmrw, but we're out of town right now so I have to wait til next Friday. If I could hang with you guys til then, I'd appreciate it!

Just cruising through the 2ww post-iui over here. Definitely easier this time (i say that now, we'll see how I am by day 10. Haha). I go in for a progesterone test tomorrow. Really have no expectations for this cycle. It's the first 1 back in the saddle and this has been a crazy week where literally everything has gone wrong, so definitely not getting my hopes up. But we'll see! I hope all of you are doing well

**lurker from TTTC**
Hello, mamas! <3 Wow is it awesome to see old friends on this side of the abyss!!
I've posted an MFI-related poll/question on TTTC and thought SAIF feedback would be super helpful too (basically, DH's SAs were super inconsistent and I am wondering what others' treatments were based on their SA results). Fun clickety-clicking awaits you here: link Thank you so much!!

moto, Congratulations on being PUPO! Everything crossed for you! Sounds like your embryo managed the thaw like a champ. scrang, Yay for great betas! I hope everything looks perfect at your ultrasound! supermorena, Glad the 2WW is painless so far, and I hope you're pleasantly surprised by this cycle. Hi, sunshiney! No advice RE: MFI (our problems are aaaaaalllll me), but I wanted to wish you luck! AFM, betas were 8 and 33. I think that's on the low side even for 6 and 8dp5dt, but the RE is happy with them because the doubling time is good (also, DD's betas on the same days were 7 and 33 again, and she turned out OK . Next step is to come in for an ultrasound Tuesday just to be sure things are implanted where they should be. If it's OK, I'd like to stick around until the HB ultrasound, too, since that's where things have typically gone off the rails in the past.

Has anyone else done PIO shots? I've felt sort of under-the-weather since transfer and I think it's the shots. I was on progesterone last time, but it was the supplements instead of the injections. I don't remember any issues. I'm 8 days into the shots (3pt5dt) and I just feel tired, headache-y, blah. I thought I was starting to run a fever but the thermometer did not agree, so that part was in my head. It's possible I'm coming down with something but it seems like it would have progressed by now... I'm on day 3 of feeling like I'd just rather be in bed.
Also, I forgot how much I hate TWWs. Just an emotional roller coaster and there's nothing you can do but wait.

westiemom - I'm sorry you felt the same way but at least it's not all in my head! I prefer to have an explanation/something to blame, so now I can go ahead and blame the shots!
