Just got home from my appointment. No progress from my last false alarm, I'm only having very weak contractions right now. She stripped my membranes and had me schedule a just in case appointment for next week.

I am torn though, because DS is sick. He has a fever of 101.3, claims to be dizzy, and is very fussy and needy. We are cuddling and watching Sing. I would really like him to be healthy when the baby comes, but i also want the baby out.

I'm skating on so little broken sleep and it's catching up. I've been falling asleep while lil fella is nursing thus feeding times the last 2 days have been all over the place; just when we were getting to a good schedule 😩
Also add me to the nursing pain club. My left is getting better but the right should be better too but doesn't feel like it. Same here about bubs being on his best behavior during LC consult last Saturday. Now I think I need to make another appt. again 😩
codex320, good luck! I think I read somewhere you're going in for your induction tonight? Also ask for help with nursing, some of the nurses on duty might also be certified LCs if the LCs aren't available late evenings or nights. if you can't get your nip balm in time, coconut oil works well and ask for lanolin from the nurses.

DS1 had a terrible latch AND was very sleepy. I ended up with a horrible crack that still haunts be in my dreams. DS2 overall really has been better. I think some of the latch issues was me, to be honest. Today has been much, much better. I just slowed down and let him do his thing.
