Ring has been found!!!!
H even though he was a jerk decided to finally put the car seat in the car and saw the ring glistening on the road. It's intact but looks like it's been run over.
I also reserved a spot at the daycare for #2 since I had to let the director know that I found my ring.

I don't think most babies need to be woken MOTN, unless dictated by the doctor. But even most full term babies won't go more than 4 hours anyway before needing to eat.

We (me?) are waking DD2 every 2-3 hours to eat due to her jaundice and trying to bring the levels down. Once we’ve got the clear her numbers are good again we will go back to letting “sleeping baby sleep” but eating (and the consequently peeing and pooping) is one of the best things for treating jaundice at home. She is still looking orangey to me today but she has plenty of wet diapers so I’m holding to that right now.

I drink soooooo much water (like 2.5 liters a day), because I've had a huge SCH my entire pregnancy and that is what you are supposed to do for management of it. I'm positive it's not dehydration. I'm also peeing like every 20-60 minutes, because the contractions hit my bladder each time....bladder empty of bladder full doesn't seem to have any be effect on the contractions either. Bah. This minus the SCH. I drink at least 20 ounces of water every 2 hours, pee constantly, take baths, lay down, walk. Nothing seems to stop them with any consistency. Also this. I Figure at this point, contractions even if irregular are normal.

I did have 1 - what I'm calling - real contraction after my sweep. It hurt and got my whole belly and back, so I think it was for realsies?
I took a nap and all contractions (BH or real) have stopped now, but I feel like progress was had lol.

TW - Pet Loss
We just found out our oldest dog has lymphoma. I didn't imagine spending the afternoon we were moving home at the emergency vet with her, but here we are.
We're bringing her home with steroids to make her comfortable, but not pursuing any treatment. We're looking at weeks, possibly months, but not much more.

mkrupar so sorry, pets are family too and this is a lot right now with baby and house. cythe one contraction can always become two or three or more later. All the things crossed for you that this everntually becomes real soon!

I took DD2 Into school, after kids left, to meet with some colleagues and just talk. It felt good to a) shower & put on real clothes and b) talked with other adults besides H. I’m gonna make a concerted effort to get out of the house with DD2 more as it was nice to feel “human” again.

I apologize in advance in being very needy today. I have a FTM question about contractions.
So, I'm here just hanging out and I notice that I'm getting somewhat regular contractions but they seem to be brought on by me moving. Like when I was napping earlier or after I woke up, nothing for any length of time but as soon as I went to flip sides, get out of bed, ect then I have a contraction.
Those don't count, correct? Clearly not in labor over here, they're uncomfortable but not painful and I highly doubt labor contractions would stop just because I stopped moving around lol.

I have always heard that if you drink some water and lie down and they stop, it's not "real" yet. Laying down/staying still wouldn't stop your contractions if it was time.

Except moving to my side brings one on. It's all a mind fuck lol. They're real-ish in that I can't stretch through them or make them go away once they start. It's just a matter of what triggers them. *related, the worst ones are right after I use the bathroom. What the hell bladder, I just did you a solid by emptying you. Y u so mad?

If you want, you can go for a walk/keep moving to see if they turn into the real thing, but if you can get them to stop with water, laying down, taking a bath, etc, then they are still practice contractions.

Vacuum or something and see if it keeps up. If it’s real it eventually will not stop. As you have seen, some people go through periods over days (weeks? Right TNT?) with bursts of this. I always had a couple nights in my last week with a few hours of an and off and the nothing. Both days I went into labor w my boys the contractions didn’t start as timetable, they worked up to that. No matter what, it is progress of some sort!

Thanks everyone. She's H's first baby, so he's pretty devastated. I don't really know what to do because I've never been in this position before. I know I want her to go without pain, so we won't be prolonging things unnecessarily.
On another note, we're in the new house and DS is completely screwed up. He normally takes a bottle between 8 and 9 then passes out for a few hours. He had one at 7:15, 8:30, then again at 9:30. It's 10pm and he's currently wide awake in his bassinet. Go to sleep kid.
It's seems a growth spurt may have coincided with the relocation. Awesome.
