Baby Parma is here!!! 8 pounds 5 ounces, 20.5 inches long. Delivered via RCS. I had over 2 liters of amniotic fluid and baby had a bit of a hard time breathing and perking up immediately after delivery but she is good now! Latched right away in recovery.
I'm having expected pain but also bad rib pain- she stretched them out while she was wedged there. Just ate for the first time in 17 hours and it was glorious!!

My DS2 just puked everywhere. 🙏 for me. Hopefully it was just a fluke like he ate too much. Cannot handle a stomach virus again.

parma986 congratulations!!!! I know some of you are so over being pregnant but I’m excited for all the babies still yet to come!! I love reading and seeing all these O17 babies and glad we have more to go still (but I still sympathize because I know some of you are so over it too!)

I feel like there are a few of us scheduled to be induced on Friday! ❤
I have a nephew who's a Friday the 13th baby, so that was my sister's guess. DH said that MIL said we need to call and move it to Thursday. Not because he'll be here sooner, but to not have it be Friday the 13th. I hope she was trying to make a joke, but it's hard to tell with her.

burritosateverymeal, congratulations!! Welcome, baby burrito! Just got back from J's first pedi appointment (4 days old) and doc confirmed our suspicions - that he's looking pretty yellow. Got some bloodwork to check for jaundice and should hopefully hear back this evening what his levels are and whether or not we need to go back to the pedi tomorrow. You, me, and I think duskymonkey (?) are all in the jaundice boat. Hopefully we can all get our babes over this bump soon! Yup. Yellow babe over here ☹️ Which is to be expected given my ethnicity. Hopefully your bill levels aren't too high. Just keep up with feeding every 2 hrs and supplement if you need to. It's exhausting but will kick the bill levels down faster. |

rachydc, glad to hear all is well and you didn't have to stay for 24 hrs! Also why nothing to eat or drink? I would be dehydrated! I chugged so much water during my short stint, even the nurses were impressed 😬😂
