My name is Keira... I am a lesbian, engaged to a woman. We have been together for a couple years now and have finally decided that we are at a point in our lives where starting our own little family is definitely do-able. After a while of discussing about it, we are proud to say that our insemination day is right around the corner, and we are super excited about it. I'm not going to lie, with me being the one (hopefully) getting pregnant I am super nervous.. With us having a local donor, and doing it at home, by ourselves (me & my fiance) I just don't want to mess anything up. It'll just be us and a syringe and I don't want to be the reason it doesn't take. Does anyone have any tips for doing an at home insemination with a syringe?
I would love to hear a bit about you guys & gals, and also get your input! Thanks! much love! xoxox!
p.s. Have made posts on like 3 different websites and no replies... am I posting to the wrong group, or websites? Am I asking stupid questions? are forums just not the thing anymore? I feel like the new kid in high school all over again.

Hey! Glad you found your way over! Some boards here are more active than others. So Feel free to jump in wherever you feel inclined. TTGP does check ins for people trying to conceive, which you may find helpful.
I don't have experience with your specific situation, my IUIs were done at a clinic, but I just wanted to say hi.
