Taitai (and the others who are experiencing the fun that is prodromal labor) - I had 3 days of this before going into actual labor with DD2 (Never mind how long actual labor turned out to be for me). Hopefully you all don’t have too many more days/nights of this left. I know it’s exhausting so rest up while you all can if/when they stop.

cythe Sending you hugs. I can't imagine all the feelings you have with what you are going through. FWIW with DD I was induced at almost 39 weeks and I had nothing happen up until the induction. Taitai Try to rest, I know it's easier said than done. Maybe your H can watch your son for a bit so you can get some sleep.

Does it count as nesting if I just spent the past 2 hours cleaning, organizing and putting up our Halloween decorations? at one point I thought my water broke, but no, just really sweaty crotch. Livin the glam life over here

britt Good luck! FX you can get something happening! It's not even noon and I'm tired. I took DD grocery shopping since tomorrow is Thanksgiving and everything is closed. I'm counting down until nap time so I can lay down. We are heading to the IL's friends for dinner later, I don't really know them but apparently they make a huge feast.

Here's to hoping all the ladies in prodromal labor switch to real action soon! I had 2-3 days of this before DD1 was born and actually don't even know when I switched into active, early labor. Try to get rest when you can <3 We are prepping freezer meals today (nothing like waiting until the last minute) and I need to get things more organized in this house or I will go nuts once the baby is here. In other news- DD1 has peed on the potty twice today and is wearing her first pull up! Where did my baby go?!

Want to know what's more boring than sitting in a hospital bed with nothing to do? Laying in a hospital bed on the NST for the past 45 minutes with no end in sight. This baby hates the monitor. You're not going to get the Accels you want. He's coming out tomorrow, why is this necessary?

We've been out of coffee for 2 days because I underestimated my subscribe and save date this month.
Thank goodness that Amazon delivers on sunday because coffee and a huge box of diapers came today.

parma986 woo whoo to potty training success! cougarette yikes- sorry about the no nap situation. DD1 has been taking hers much later in the day as it’s hard to nail down the schedule right now with the baby so all bedtimes and naptimes and mealtimes are thrown off. Hopefully there is a nap in everyone’s future soon!

I took a nap while he played in his room. I'm able to mentally drown out the noise. DH got him up a minute ago and he had a horrible dirty diaper, which I had to change. Now that fucker (aka DH) is talking about taking his nap. Sorry dude, you [don't] snooze, you lose.

8 days of prodomal labor. I am cautiously optimistic in that the contractions are getting stronger, but also super discouraged in that every time they start to get closer together they space right back out.

I need the everything hurts and I'm dying gif. Painting, putting the crib together, cleaning the house, laundry, a no longer sick 4 year old, and 90 degree weather.
I think I'm done. I can't feel my legs. I still need to go to the grocery store but I'm hoping to put it off til tomorrow. And the weatherman tricked us with headlines of a cold front coming. 86. 90 to 86 is not headline worthy!

No baby over here either. We went in to see my MFM on Sunday, because I had been noticing decreased fetal movement - I think due to all the prodromal labor contractions. Baby is fine - Dr. sent me for an NST and we passed again within 30 minutes. They were surprised how strong the contractions were on the monitor, but again - nothing consistent, so just wait and see.
The doctor also gave me a "cervix massage," which was not very comfortable, but it did open things up a bit. Interestingly, I didn't have as many contractions last night and was able to sleep better. I wonder if the "massage" did some of the work the contractions had been trying to accomplish? Either way, I feel much better after a solid night's sleep. I was so exhausted yesterday I legit fell asleep during the 30 minute NST at the hospital. I really needed some rest and am feeling better now 😀.

curmudgeon I know what you mean about the weather. I just walked outside and it was like walking into a wall of wet air. At 9:30pm it's 80 degrees with 91% humidity. I mean, come on!
