cornpop I've heard good things about that balm, especially for PP, so I'll give it a shot. mintyblueair I may ask my OB about a prescription ointment at my next appt if they're still this bad then. Unfortunately, my problem seems to be the opposite of yours, and I'm having trouble resolving it.

Ugh. I wrote a whole thing but then tapatalk closed and it went away. Basically, from 6pm onward I feel exhausted and useless. I hadn’t realized how lucky my previous pregnancies were, physically. It’s gonna be a long 7-9 weeks! I feel the same way and it is really bumming me out! By the time I get home at night from work I am just completely wiped out and have zero energy for anything else. I have been going to bed around 8-8:30pm every night...I just feel like such a sloth. I don't know if it is because I am 3 years older or a little more out of shape this time around or because of life circumstances (toddler plus slightly busier job), but it sucks. I feel bad wishing away the weeks until delivery (and we have SO much to do before baby arrives), but I am over being pregnant.

Me, every day. "I'm gonna drink lots of water all day but cut myself off at 7pm so I don't have to pee 8 times a night." Me, all day: Me, 7:00pm: Me, 7:03pm: Me, 7:05pm: Me, 7:08pm: Me: 7:10pm: Me, all night: then

ovenrack dying. This is so me. Why does water never taste better than after I brush my teeth and am ready for bed? This message brought to you by pregsomnia.

I always roll my eyes when people get grossed out by this, because, well, I’m already wasting toilet paper every time I pee 3tsp 6x a night... you really want me to waste gallons and gallons of water?!?

ovenrack 👌 gifs! And +1 to not flushing every little pee, also because our toilet/plumbing get overwhelmed easily.

Or you can be like me and apparently be sleeping so hard that your body doesn't totally wake you up to pee. And you pee yourself a little bit anyway?! Last night was the second time this pregnancy that I've woken myself up because I started to go while I was still asleep. Wtf body.
Guess I should start putting down the puppy pads now. 🙄

Has anyone else dropped yet? I'm 32w4d. This afternoon I had a very weird sudden sensation and after using the bathroom I realized baby was way lower. Visibly lower, and all of the sudden I can breathe again. Still lots of fetal movement but she's def dropped. I didn't think this was supposed to happen so early.
I'm thinking about calling ob in the morning? Wwyd?

I suddenly am not having to pee quite as often, and I can breathe a bit better too. I was wondering if I dropped. I should look in a mirror. Lol.
I don't think it's a problem - babe may have just found a comfy position early on, or could move back up again, I think? I would def call if there are any accompanying signs... contractions, mucous plug showing up outside your body, mysterious fluid which could be amniotic.

I did a ton of walking today and I am exhausted, but I can't sleep. I just took my third shower of the day (two of which were in the last three hours).
I was saying to A, "I just want to live in the shower. Someone should invent something where you don't waste water - where streams of water can be recycled so you just sit there and the water keeps hitting your body over and over forever."
A was like, "um, that's called a hot tub."
Duh. But I want, like, a recycling shower. DNW to be submerged.
Also seeking - a way to sleep in the shower.

calendula I’m still carrying high but have had “wtf whoa” moments because the baby has pushed down really hard. Are you having frequent/constant pressure or anything? It doesn’t hurt to call but I don’t think I’d worry too much unless that was the case.

I'll prob wait to call during business hours tomorrow.

But the shape of my belly has noticeably changed and I am suddenly getting "lightning crotch" sensations and kicks that are really low down. I'm not calling about it since there are no accompanying cramps/contractions. My appointments are two weeks apart at this point so I feel like unless anything changes between now and my next appointment I can just bring it up then. I'm hoping it just means that baby has flipped to head down since she was breech at my 29 week appointment.

Yes, dropping and lightening are the same thing. I'm supposed to be more than several weeks before birth though ;-) I think with DS it was the standard 2 weeks or so before labor. I did talk to a nurse this morning and she said that while she isn't concerned about the positioning itself, that I should pay more attention to everything else, and if I notice even a small change in cramping or contractions, to call. So I'm glad I called in.

Everything I had read says 2-4 weeks for FTMs and later or not at all for STMs. I'm 7 weeks out so I was kind of Its nice, FWIW. Not nearly as difficult to breathe or sit since baby isn't pressed up against my diaphragm--and I'm short torsoed, so it was getting uncomfortable!

DD1 was super low and at a zero station for weeks before I went into labor. Towards the end it was uncomfortable because her head was so low. But it made labor/pushing so much easier because I didn't need to labor down and once I was fully dilated she was out in very few pushes.

anyone have experience with puppp? i have a rash on my legs and i don’t know if it’s pregnancy related or not. it seems like hives to me and started sunday night. google tells me puppp usually starts on belly so i’m guessing its not, but anecdotes would be welcomed. i’m trying to think of anything that could be the culprit - i had a really bad cold for like a week and not sure if it’s related to that. i’ve also changed my razor and shaved.🤔 rashes are so annoying. should i call nurseline?

Every day, usually in the late morning, my nipples burn. Like, the kind of burn when your fingers get so cold they hurt? Except my nipples are usually pretty toasty, just not toasty enough to warrant pain.
Pregnancy is so glamourous.

I’ve had Build Me Up Buttercup stuck in my head basically this whole pregnancy. It just randomly pops in my head throughout the day, especially when I’m getting ready to leave the house in the mornings. What does that even mean?

I sneezed while I was on the toilet this morning and I thought I was going to give birth right then and there. So much pressure.
