We're looking for strollers - DS will be 2 years and 8 months when the twins are born. He loves his stroller, and honestly, not sure how I can keep him with me without having him strapped into the stroller. We're looking at the joovy big caboose for when we have all three out together. But I wasn't sure if he'll be okay with a 3 point harness or if we should buy the additional seat.
Anyone have this stroller? Or looking at any others? Thanks!

My kids were spending less and less time in the stroller by the time they were 3, so it might not be worth investing in something that seats 3 kids. It's pretty easy to wear a baby in a carrier during the first year and have 2 kids in a double stroller. By the time your babies are a year old, your son may not be spending that much time in the stroller anymore.
My kids were born in the opposite order from you (twins first, then singleton 2.5 years later). I contemplated getting a stroller that could accommodate 3 kids. I ultimately decided against it and never regretted that decision. I frequently wore the baby during the first year and kept the twins secured in the stroller. It worked great. Once baby was big enough that it wasn't as convenient to wear her, she got a seat in the stroller and the older two could take turns walking when we went out places. On rare occasions when everyone needed to ride (e.g., the zoo), DH was generally with me and we brought 2 strollers, a double and a single.

bethers My son will also be 2 years and 8 months when our twins are born. We ultilmately decided on getting a double stroller with a riding board. For long outings, we will bring his umbrella stroller and keep the twins in the double. Otherwise, he can use the glider board or one of us can wear one of the twins. My daughter will be ~2.5 when the twins are born so I've been thinking about this too. We have the uppababy vista which is really nice so at this point I don't think I want to invest in another stroller. We're going to get the attachment to add a second seat and the little skateboard. Hopefully that works out for us! I've always worn my daughter a lot more than I put her in the stroller and I imagine I'll probably wear the twins a lot too.

belle0720 we're going to uppababy vista route too. Seems like the best option for us. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
