Hi all! Hope all is well Achievements: We officially survived the summer! And both kids are back in school as of the 7th! Challenges: Staying motivated for the 2 and 1/2 hours all of the kids are at school. Plans for the week? I'm meeting with my book club this evening, and I have a PTA meeting on Tuesday. There is also a gymanstics meet and great that my daughter and I will probably be going to on Thursday. Other than that, we are just trying to take it easy. By the end of last week, the kids were so tired from school. They were beginning to act crazy (or crazier than usual). So I'm going to try to give them plenty of oppurtunity to rest in the evening this week. How are YOU doing? I'm good. I've almost finished my first month back on my anti-depressant, and I'm starting to feel more like myself again. It also feels nice to have a routine again since school has started up. I'm hoping this autumn is kinder to me than summer was Q's/Vent? Nothing I can think of. QOTW- what is your dream car? Chrysler Pacifica, lol. It's a really lame choice, but those Jim Gaffigan commercials have really sold me on it

Achievements: Surviving the weekend without my H. Prepping for the first day of school.
Challenges: I haven't worked out in two weeks. I'm making myself get back on track this afternoon. Surviving the rest of the week without H.
Plans for the week? Tomorrow is the first day of school (I'm teaching 3-K two days a week). Wish me luck! Starting to work out again. Pedi appointments for both boys on Wednesday and a moms club meeting.
How are YOU doing? Better. I think I've finally released all of the tension and stress that built up during Harvey. Now if I can get a few school days under my belt, I'll have more confidence there.
Q's/Vent? Nada.
QOTW- what is your dream car? I have an Explorer and I love it. I've always told H I wanted a Land Rover, but I don't really like the new ones.

Achievements: I got some small projects done that I have been trying to for awhile.
Challenges: I really need to get back to walking everyday and eating better, I did horrible on our trip and now I'm paying for it.
Plans for the week? DD1 has preschool tomorrow and Thursday, swim lessons, and possibly a trip to the children's museum.
How are YOU doing? I'm doing pretty well. DD1 goes to school 4 hours twice a week now so it's given me some time to get some projects done.
Q's/Vent?
QOTW- what is your dream car? Honestly I'm not too sure, I'm not really into cars that much.

Achievements: Made it though another week. Hit 100k+ steps last week.
Challenges: not enough time in the day.
Plans for the week? Cleaning and prepping for A's bday party on Saturday.
How are YOU doing? Okay. I've been feeling a smidge overwhelmed but I'm not sure why.
Q's/Vent?
QOTW- what is your dream car? Jetta TDI. We had one but turned it in with the emissions 'scandal'.

Achievements: Not being behind on dishes despite being extra busy. No idea how I have pulled that off thus far. Washing dishes is always the first to go to the wayside.
Challenges: LOTS of extra stuff on my plate lately.
Plans for the week? Work, visitors, and the usual kid and family stuff.
How are YOU doing? Sort of know which way is up. Lol. Really, I am doing well though, just very busy.
Q's/Vent?
QOTW- what is your dream car? Too many to pick just one. I am into vehicles though.

Achievements: just chugging along. A couple of weeks ago I went to the board of ed to complain about DS being denied a spot on the bus & got a job. It's really not a big deal though. Just a sub for the district. Parapro, secretary, monitoring, that kind of thing. The first time I went in was last Friday for like just a little over two hours so it's barely part-time. Hope I can still stick around here! Challenges: getting used to leaving the house. I kid, I kid. Seriously though, they called me in this week of course for longer days than Friday & I got some weird sinus thing. I was hoping to just rest all week but I went in M, T & had today off. Plans for the week? I had off today & it was DS' class' day to walk to the library. The 1st graders go once a month so I met him at school & accompanied them there. Of course on the way back they were all whiny. The walk is really not that far. Tuesday was soccer practice since tomorrow is open house at school. Friday there's no school because of some teacher professional day so I know I'll have Friday off. How are YOU doing? I'm doing okay besides this weird sickness. Q's/Vent? The place that DS does therapy at is pissing me off. She claims they're still waiting on orders & keeps changing her story yet never calls. I finally decided to call & put her on the spot. Our pedi isn't giving them orders because she "hasn't seen DS in a while." wtf sorry he doesn't get sick often? We're pretty new to her so she probably doesn't even know who we are. What does it matter to you if he gets therapy even if you don't know us? wtf. So she's been trying our dev pedi & asked if I can call them. Says she sent them the 5th. Like, you couldn't freaking call me to tell me this?! GAHHHH QOTW- what is your dream car? The first thing that came to mind is a Subaru Crosstek but I don't know if it's necessarily my 'dream' car

Our dream cars are so depressing (including mine). Nobody wants a Masarati or a Porsche?

Achievements: well we made it half way through the busiest week on our calendar this month! Whooo.
Challenges: DS2's special needs are quickly growing to take so much time, I'm finding it hard to schedule.
Plans for the week? Tomorrow hopefully I get to stay home! Sunday, H and I are going on a much needed break.
How are YOU doing? Tired and worried about scheduling conflicts.
Q's/Vent? Just irritated at a friend who is trying to garner sympathy for her "underweight" child when she fully knows all the troubles we have when DS2's eating and how he is 1% away from failure to thrive.
QOTW- what is your dream car? Toyota Sienna! I nearly drool. It's my dream mommy car.

Radley I'm sure that is beyond frustrating. I know how I feel when my 68 and 81 %ile for weight boys go on a hunger strike--I can't imagine how much worse it would be if they weren't at a healthy weight.

I was definitely having a moment the other day. It's stressful so I was, maybe irrationally, annoyed.
