Thanks to AC for the extra shouty title.
So let's talk swimsuits. I've got some large top areas. Like past the Ds, actually giant, non perky.
I tried a few bra sized underwire tops but I don't like them because they are just bras and I want more coverage than that. So I decided fuck actual support and let's just go for containment. I ordered from LL Bean because I'm an old lady and they had some cute styles and they *almost* work. Based on their INACCURATE sizing I'm the largest "regular" size but the plus size options are like "here's a plain black tank top" and I'm way cuter than that.
I've tried looking at Torrid and I'm not a fan, I hear people say Lands End but they weren't my style either. Target seemed lacking in the plus sizes.
TL;DR I want a tankini, not a halter top, I need actual numbered sizing, and if they are accommodating to large busts then that's even more awesome. Help?

Check Athleta. They also have fantastic and flattering rash guards which I feel obligated to recommend to everyone because sun protection is important.

Oh I did look there too but I'll try again. I feel like the large bust was like DD there so I was skeptical.

Okay I tried and according to the swim size chart I'm a 1x or 2x but they don't actually have any 1x or 2x swim. So that's nice.

Have you checked jcrew? I can't remember the sizing off the top of my head, but I like that they have cup size tops.

I ordered from this site for the first time this year. I was looking for something inexpensive, but was actually very pleased with the quality. I'm heavy chested and was mainly looking for support, and was happy with the way it fit. www.smartandsexy.com/swim/perfect-coverage-tankinis.html lol "cup size could not be calculated" ðŸ˜

I've had good luck at JcPenney and sometimes Lands End. JCP was a better price point - sorry I don't remember what the specific brand was.
