I’m cutrently reading “the breakdown” BA Paris. It’s the same author as Behind Closed Doors. She has a writing style that makes me get into my own head and totally sucks me in. I’m 60% through and can’t wait to see how it ends. I had a hunch what’s going to happen. I’m curious to see if you are right. I enjoyed that one Oooh, I’ll probably plough through it tonight. I’ll report back tomorrow

I just finished the girl before by JP Delaney and it was ok. A page turner but I didn’t think it was all that great. But it reminded me vaguely of 50 shades (which I didn’t like) and gone girl Ooh I felt the same. I remember getting to the end and thinking what?! I feel like I have unanswered questions.

I finished the Paris Key and I really loved it. I am reading Letters from Paris now (same author totally different story). I am enjoying it. It's a pretty unassuming book but it's steeped in life in Paris which is a guilty pleasure of mine so it's good!

i'm reading a book about a couples marriage falling apart because {Trigger}they lost their 2 yo son . It's really sad but interesting at the same time. Parts are really hard for me to read. I couldn't even imagine going thru what they have had to go thru and currently going thru. With that said, i haven't decided if i like it or not. And i can't remember the title and it's on my kindle which is at home.

i finished the last dominion trilogy. people - go out and get it. so freaking good. and i don't typically read those types of books. I can't stop thinking about the story, the characters..so good. As per your suggestion, RunsforWineandCarbs , I downloaded the first book a few days ago in preparation for my weekend of healing/relaxing .. I definitely like it so far! I'm about 3/4 of the way through. I need to slow down when I read. I get so anxious and excited to know what happens next that I find myself skimming pages looking for key words and people. I obviously am going to miss so important info that way. This is probably why I always read a book/series twice 😁

Or them having an affair and her friend wanting to kill her for her money. What a mind fu*k! I really enjoyed it. And i loved her payback.

Girl in the red coat was not that great. Happy to be done.
Going to start into the water by Paula Hawkins. I’ve been on hold forever and it was the special bookshelf (it’s a shelf of popular books that has a two week limit that aren’t in the hold circulation) . There are several copies that are in the hold circulation and 1-2 that go on this special shelf.

Sigh.
Well I was disappointed I’m Into the Water. It was hard to follow at first because the chapters are told by the point of view of all the characters in the book. And there are a lot of characters and the chapters are short so I found myself forgetting who was who at first. It was slow at first then did pick up but I was disappointed overall.

I just finished Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough. Oh man. What a book. I was truely shocked at the end. That rarely happens. I was blindsided. So good.

Also I’m reading Twelve days of Christmas - the parenting book club book. After reading all the suspense, psychological, murder-mysteries lately it is such a different book than what I’m used to. I keep laughing out loud at how corny some of the parts are. ... {Spoiler} I’ll still read to see if Julia and Kane fall in love bc I totally see this as that type of book.

I started a book called snow blind by Ragnar jonasson. Having a hard time following he characters because he’s from Iceland and the book was translated. All the names are in Icelandic. As well as the name of the towns. But it’s ok so far.

Or listen to the preview of the audiobook because I read a book set in poland once and this helped sooo much. Also maybe I need to get myself to read the red queen #2 now haha. I keep thinking maybe I just wasn't in the mood for the first one but I'll like it more now.

I did check to see if it was on audio at my library. I wasn’t. Is here somewhere else I can listen to a preview?

jedi, 45thparallel, This is the one I did this year! There was another version that was reading to expand your mind/literary taste too. I definitely needed the fun one! I like the idea of trying new things instead of trying to hit a number. I know we talked about not choosing long books, etc haha. let me know what you guys find!
