If I walk into another day of problems at work I may seriously turn around and go home 😂 Oh no! I hope your day goes well. Work can be so draining when it's just problem after problem. ☹️ I am just sitting over here disinfecting everything and hoping the stomach flu DH caught a few days ago doesn't migrate to myself or DS. I feel like the stomach flu could cause problems for pregnant women - especially in the third trimester. DNW to mess with that. I have been washing my hands a million times a day and wearing a face mask too. 😷😷😷 Oh no! I had it in 2nd tri and it was horrible. Luckily I was able to stay hydrated enough not to have to go to in for monitoring. I hope you don't get it!

jexxa So far so good! Nobody else has shown signs of the sickness. Noro and rotovirus are just sooooo contagious, and the lovely Mayo Clinic website told me you can be contagious up to 2 weeks after you stop feeling ill/having symptoms. Ugh. That must be how this thing spreads so easily on cruise ships and at schools/workplaces - people feel better after 24 hours but they are still capable of spreading the icky germs for up to 2 weeks after! Face mask, lots of handwashing/hand sanitizer, and only using a designated bathroom/shower for DH these next 2 weeks! It's a pain, but it will be worth it if nobody else comes down with it.

How many of you had ultrasounds that told you the gender, but it ended up being wrong? We had our anatomy ultrasound about a month ago (I was 21 weeks) and they told us baby was a girl. I can't shake this boy feeling though!!!! I don't know why but I keep getting boy vibes! I think I would have put money on this being a boy. Did I just convince myself this was a boy or has this actually happened to anyone else lol. Family is sending us girl clothes now but I'm scared to buy too much girl stuff. It's the weirdest feeling

icedcoffee I don't know anyone who this has actually happened to. I have a friend who can say that it happened to their aunt and uncle but not really sure I buy it. So anyways very curious to see what you actually have I saw 3 lines (hamburger) on the ultrasound myself. I just don't know why I cant shake this feeling. It's so weird!! I never had any type of feeling either way for the first two.

She was so surprised, as she always had a feeling it was a girl, and that feeling wouldn't leave her even after the U/S. At the A/S a few weeks later they were told she was actually expecting a girl. All my cousin could say was "I KNEW IT". So It does happen, but I doubt it happens often??

Sunday is almost over for me, but it was a good day! DH and I took DS swimming, and we also had waffles for breakfast. Yummm. At the pool I received a comment from an older gentleman that it looked like I was "ready to pop." When I responded, "Well, 2 more months to go still, so I hope baby stays inside," he just gave me this shocked look and asked if I was pregnant with twins. 😂😩😬. Old European men! I'll take the Southeast Asia ladies rubbing my bump without asking over comments like that any day! muscari How are you feeling? How is your mom's recovery going?

28 weeks today yay for 3rd tri. We had family in town that left this morning so we will be relaxing today! Taitai I hate it when strangers make comments. I'd prefer the drive-by belly rubs too!

Soo I need some feedback. We moved into our house two years ago, and even though we talked about it, we never actually got around to having a housewarming party. We've been invited to a lot of BF's coworkers houses for random events, but none of them have ever been to ours. I was thinking maybe we could have a "sip and see" party after the baby was born? But like not right after, maybe at like 3 months cuz germs. Basically just an excuse for people to come chill, meet the new addition, and also finally get an invite to our house lol. Lame? Cute? Lay it on me

Also, were not having a baby shower or anything due to this being our third girl and we dont really need much lol. So it wouldnt be overkill, and I would specify that gifts werent necessary

No worries, I just can't remember anything right now If you felt odd about calling it a sip and see, you could certainly have a st Patrick's day party? I did that once to avoid calling my house warming a house warming.

icedcoffee I think a sip and see or a St. Patrick's Day party is a great idea! Either idea is cute and I wouldn't side eye you at all.

And I've moved onto stretchy pants at work... My favorite semi-work-appropriate soft pants don't fit my ass anymore. But I also don't want to buy anything new with ~3 weeks to go.

I'd also really love to know when nesting kicks in . I've seriously never been this exhausted ever! My MIL just texted asking when I was going to stop working- bc maybe if I got the urge to nest the baby would come. 😐 I'm too tired to nest. I spend all my days off napping all damn day. That box of picture frames will stay in that spot until DH moves it one day and that last pile of baby laundry will probably be done after he comes because I do not have the time or energy to do anything.

I'm just gonna bitch for a min... I'm so tired of being able to smell everything. I'm so tired of food aversions and cravings. Also, I'm tired of still feeling nauseous all the time. Gahh. Like 100 days left

@starzia Omg 45 bibs - that's a lot! We had like 10 and only really used about 5 of them...but that is also because DS hated bibs and would pull them off constantly. Maybe see which ones are your favorites though, before giving too many away? DS must have had a thick neck, because some of the bibs we were too tight on him; we never ended up using them. The ones that tied in the back were good, because he couldn't rip them off and we could adjust the neck size. Obviously with the tie ones you have to take them off after eating and can't let them hang out in them all day due to choking hazards though.

@starzia 45 bibs???? Oh my hahaha. I have.. 1 actual bib and 3 little drool scarves (by lack od a better name for them). Will be using small muslim whatyoucallits while BF and figured I will sort out bibs once we move on to other stuff.
I however do have like 100 onesies.... okay maybe not that much but it feels like I wont need to do laundry for a month even with multiple changes a day lol
