MH just shops at Penney's or Kohls usually because #cheap. Khakis, slacks, button ups, suits, etc. What does he actually need? Idk! You're supposed to tell me that. If you venture stateside I can probably find someone to help you in one of our stores. I have peeps in the state you are close to.

I also second calling HR. I wouldn't go solely off what people are wearing on the website.

I am really sold on these. They really are the best. Easy to take care of and last forever. Also, your H could call HR and ask if there is a dress code. Karen you're a genius.

I wouldn't go too crazy getting suits and more formal things until after he starts and gets a feel for the norm in his department. Looking at my company's IG you would think we all wear suits and hang out with professional athletes. That's generally not the case.
I'd get some slacks, shirts (brooks brothers are great) and ties that can mix and match. Maybe a blazer and one suit if he doesn't already own one. Do you have a Nordstrom Rack near you? That's wear we get a lot of Mh's work stuff.
What were people wearing when he interviewed with them?
He can try HR but our company has a pretty vague dress code and a lot of it is department specific. Tech wears jeans everyday where as our more client focused employees wear suits.

H wears almost exclusively BR. Non-iron shirts and slim or skinny khakis with a tie. Everything holds up well and is constantly 40% off. He keeps a blazer at work in case he needs to throw one on for a meeting.

Sorry if someone already suggested this, but something like this would probably work

I think going to the team he'll be working with is the best bet. Even if that means he wears a suit Day 1 then goes on a shopping spree that night.

In all seriousness, my H really likes the fitted dress shirts from Van Heusen. They come in a variety of prints/colors and can be worn casually or dressed up, so they're perfect for business casual or more formal if need be.
