Hey hey - sorry I was MIA there for a bit. I went to Sedona for the weekend with some girls from elementary school. A bit far for a long weekend, but was great to get away and so beautiful. Mh thankfully took off fri/mon since both girls were sick..k has an ear infection and N's cold of two weeks turned into pneumonia. So we have amoxicillin going for both and hoping they will be in good shape by the weekend. I have a flight credit to use before May, so I'm thinking we may go to San Diego/Disneyland over spring break if we can figure it out. Hoping by then k will be vaxxed too🤞 Make sure you reach out to me so we can meet up! |

wineallthetime hope L feels better soon. I was wondering the other day how things are with you. Are the kids still okay with the transition? You're sweet for asking! Kids are doing well but L does really struggle being away from me so that's heartbreaking. She was supposed to go with him yesterday but since she didn't feel well she stayed with me, I'm glad we are both flexible with things like that But...I think things will be final next Friday! I can't wait. It's been a rollercoaster to say the least. I can't believe it's been almost 15mo since I found out. Once things are final I think we are going to list the house. Originally I wanted to stay here but now I just want a fresh start. My house isn't huge by any means (2,100 square feet) but I'd like something smaller. It just feels so big and so much wasted space when half the time I'm here alone. Our yard is pretty high maintenance too. That's more than you asked for haha! |

lahdeedah flights are the scary part, so I'm hoping to be able to use the credit. On my flight Monday they said they needed 5 people to get off and catch the next flight and would give you a $600 SW credit. I had been traveling already for 8 hours, but wish I had volunteered.. what's another few hours at that point?

Hope it works out for you! Sometimes it’s cheaper to fly into SNA airport in Orange County. It’s closer to Disneyland than San Diego but I’ve gotten cheaper rates there occasionally. |

It would have been great to take advantage of a credit deal like that. |

Today was nuts. We lost power at 6am and the schools did too. I was supposed to go to the office today but called out. TG for our new friends who didn’t lose power and invited us over. We spent the day over there. C playing with their boys, our pup playing with theirs, moms hanging out together. It was great. It’s been a long time since we have had couples friends and it’s so nice.
The power just came back on here at 10:30. A couple schools are still out so tomorrow is questionable. I really do need to get to the office though so hopefully if there’s no school after care will open for the day since they have power.

I saw something close to Central Park and wonder if that would be better location wise? I booked the hotel near Chelsea because it’s new- opened this month and it’s a brand we like. What a day you had. Glad your new friend invited you over and the power is now back. |
