For the child tax credit. linkI have many things to say and none of them are nice. So instead I will sit on my hands. I.... didnt exercise that restraint.

For what? I am missing the context here and maybe I am not seeing some of the images because my computer likes to hide them a lot of the time. For the child tax credit. linkOh fuck off with this (to him of course not to you!). I make more than that, though not a crazy amount more, and the credit has been so helpful already. Does he know how expensive child care is? No probably not because when he was young enough to be paying for it, the cost was probably 30% of what it is now. The twins are going to cost me $3400 a month, as toddlers (infants are more of course), starting in January when they go to a center. That is around 75% of my net income per month. I have so many unkind things about this man swirling around in my head.

Manchin thinks that there needs to be an income cap and work requirement in order to do that. because hes an asshole
Yeah, because fuck those kids whose parents can't work, right?

And a therefore earning much less than my actual earning potential. Because even with kids in school, before and after care would be about 50% of my takehome pay.

And my kids go to the cheap community center option too.

The child tax credit has meant we can get by on my income without me needing to work OT. Work is really awful and I’m so thankful that I don’t need to work more.

Also I thought that MAL's bylaws didnt allow for residency? Did I dream that, did they change it, or did 45 just say fuckit, I own it, I'm living here?

Did you all see 45's statement on the passing of Colin Powell? It's... something.

The CTC has allowed us room to breathe every month. Normally our return helps carry us through the following year. Being able to have it monthly, is helping nearly cover the mortgage while we make our bathroom functional.

Did you all see 45's statement on the passing of Colin Powell? It's... something. Oh, my God. How absolutely, well, tasteless is the nicest adjective I can come up with. But how on brand, right? I sincerely hope that any plans Trump left at the White House regarding his own funeral have been, ah, lost somewhere. Or that it's given the attention it will deserve, i.e., absolutely none other than a one line sentence in his biography.

Please please please contact your elected officials and tell them these stories of how helpful CTC has been.
