I think dresses like these are great for WFH! They are comfortable and you can just throw on a cardigan in the fall.

Do I really have to give up my skinny jeans? SHAN’T. Also, hi. I’ve missed you.

I was at Target and mine had new tees in the men's section. Goodfellow Lyndale tees are what they're called--only $6 and they had a bunch of basic plain colored tees. I bought 4. They seem perfect to layer under sweaters and jackets and flannels for fall
Just thought I'd share! I know you guys are mostly talking pants but I always have a hard time finding plain nice tees so I was happy to find these

Also the Time and Tru fleece crew sweatshirts are another one of my new fall staples. I picked up 2 last year and just bought a couole different colors for this year.
Theyre plain and easy to dress down with leggings or up with jeans and a long necklace

I do need some new bottoms though. Leggings and jeans both. I'll check out some of the ones listed here

Hitting the Labor Day sales (a little too hard). Just got a ton of basics from gap and old navy. Nothing too exciting, though I got some leggings in taupe and dark red I think I’ll be able to dress up for work. They also have jean jackets for $15, so I grabbed one of those because why not. I bought a gold mask lanyard from Madewell (along with some black jeans). If I have to teach in a mask for another year might as well get some pretty accessories!
I also got a graphic t that says “bats the way I like it” with a bat on it that will be going onto the casual Friday rotation for October. So I’m excited about that 😂

I’m a simple girl. I like wearing dresses with boots during the winter. I have to be able to walk distance in my boots every day.
What am I looking for? Ankle height? Mid-calf? And, like, does it have to be chunky sole and square toe box?
Help me help myself.

I also ordered more ugg ultra minis. They are my go to for comfort I think I want Ugg Darias for drop off/pick up this fall/winter. I'm hoping to hit up a Nordstrom & try them on before I fully commit, but the free returns make it easy, too

My list is basically a pair of Uggs (eying the Diaras) or Bearpaw booties, LYM beanie, a Carhartt sherpa 1/4 zip sweatshirt, and a couple pairs of leggings. I may add a couple sweaters as time goes on, but that's really it.

I do only have a couple long sleeve and the rest sweaters and heavier cardigans so maybe I can justify buying 🤣

I love these jeans and am excited to see them in a long inseam. What shoes go with flared legs now? Back in the day, I wore pointy toed heals and kitten heals (pumps and boots). My feet are a wreck now and that’s not happening this time around. Do ballet flats work with flares?

I follow @modishchampagne, and she has a bunch of boot recommendations and updates to traditional boot styles. That’s where I got my idea to buy more boots. Hang on, lemme put my cane away and download tiktok

Just bought two Adirondack chairs and a side table in an end-of-season sale. Mine are light gray with black legs, but here’s a picture of the style. Imagine me with my new solo stove.

I feel like most flats work with flares. Especially these because they are really “flare-lite” and not crazy huge flares that swallow flats up. I’ve been wearing them with sandals and flats.

brux, talk to me, please, about the solo stove. I've been eyeing them awhile and think I want one, but would love to hear what you think about it.

I actually got it for Xmas and haven’t unboxed it yet! But we’ve sat by them at restaurants and my friend just got one that I enjoyed a few weeks ago. They’re really nice and relatively smokeless, especially compared to a regular yard fire pit. They do seem to burn thru wood really quickly.

But now I’m trying to figure out how to get the chairs to my house. They charge $150 delivery fee and ugh.
They’re too big to fit in H’s midsize suv so now I’m pricing out various rentals. I need a friend with a minivan.

I hate smoky campfires but love being warm and roasting marshmallows. My only complaint is we got one on the smaller side (not the tiny one). It puts off enough heat but we have to basically saw all firewood in half to make it short enough to fit down in there. Get one but get a bigger size than we did!

The style is Bern Baby Bern and I’m so sad they stopped making them. I used to buy them in a new color every year. I’d look for something similar. Knee height, somewhat flat soled (no block heel) and super comfy.

We got a small and i wish we went with medium. With the small, normal cut logs are almost all a bit too big and we have to cut the ends off to make them fit. They do burn through wood really fast (it burns super hot to make it less smoke) so have lots on hand. But otherwise we love it. I hated having a fire pit before and smelling like smoke all night.

I need a friend with a minivan. Rent a Uhaul pickup truck. It should be ~$20 for a day. It’s what we do when we have a big IKEA haul or need to get lumber for a project.
