Not as awesome this week since it’s a holiday week. Walked Monday and Thursday, Zumba Tuesday and yoga Wednesday. But no yoga today or tomorrow, we are going camping. Which means beer. And roasted marshmallows. But also hopefully hiking and biking. Down another lb this week, for a total of 2.5. It’s kinda disappointing but progress is progress.

My scale is being an absolute asshole lately so I'm done with it for the foreseeable future.
I've been doing pretty great with the bike and arm exercises while on the bike, and now that it's cooled off a bit want to get into my daily walks. I feel good, and stronger, but the scale must be broken.

I had a good workout week. Long endurance ride Sunday, power ride Monday, hills on Wednesday and fusion yesterday. Today will be a hike with the kids.

Walked Monday-Thursday for an hour in the morning.
On the rower twice this last week.
And played badminton last night (sore this morning from chasing shuttlecocks and laughing too hard at bad jokes about shuttlecocks).

Oh hey! I'm joining and really trying to commit to using my gym membership, and if love to have somewhere to be held a little more accountable.
We're going on vacation this month, so I'm sure I'm going to overindulge with food.

I played soccer outside with DS1 this morning, which was definitely some good cardio! Then I rolled my ankle really badly & I think it’s sprained. 😑 whomp whomp.

I did a MadFit legs workout this morning, plus stretching afterwards that was focused on hamstrings and hips.
Maybe I'll find a kettlebell workout for tomorrow

Hitting up the gym tonight after work! Are there any bloggers with good "intro to gym" type content? I feel like every time I go there I feel so out of my element and unsure what to do next. Sorry, I was camping when you posted this and have totally NOT ka this week, so I haven’t gptten a chance to respond. So that is one reason that I like to do classes. They help me figure out what type of workouts I am interested in. For example, I hate HIIT. It’s too much jumping. It is too hard on my joints and aggravates my plantar fasciitis. I am terrible at classes like body pump Bc I have multiple joint issues. I can’t do heavy weights even at lower reps Bc my joints give out before my muscles get a good workout. So for me, a class like barre where you do higher reps of lower weights, in conjunction with a secondary move (squats with bicep curls, lunges with overhead press) helped me figure out the right method of gym training for me. Also a lot of gyms will do an intro class or training session for cheap or free because it is in their best interest that you know how to use the equipment without injuring yourself. But even if they don’t, a small package of personal training, maybe 3 visits, can help you come up with 3 solid workouts that you rotate. And as you get fitter and stronger, you increase your weights and your number of reps. I don’t personally follow any bloggers. But I do really like PopSugar Fitness for a lot of different workout videos, I like Chloe Ting, and I know Bikini Body Mommy is really popular. If that helps at all.

Ok. I did Zumba Tuesday, walked Thursday, yoga Wednesday, today, and tomorrow morning. I lost a little over a pound again this week. So slow and steady. I didn’t think I would lose this week since we were camping over the long weekend, I drank 3 days, I missed 3 workouts, and I didn’t drink nearly enough water. But I somehow did! So I am disappointed in how slow the weight is coming off, but also glad it is coming off at all, and slow and steady is better than nothing.
At this rate, my goal weight is only 5 months away. Omg 😂 🤦🏼♀️

It's amazing what happens when I eat garbage for three days straight...I feel like complete garbage.

But I usually do ice, water, almond milk, chia seeds, cashews, a ton of spinach, apple, vanilla protein powder, and cinnamon. Or I swap the apple out for pumpkin and the cinnamon out for pumpkin spice. Or the vanilla protein for chocolate protein and the apple out for strawberries. I think most people put bananas in their green smoothies. And you know how I feel about the devil’s fruit.
