what do your older girls watch? Looking at tj and ruggerM has binged old school full house and still likes Bluey - but then she turns to babysitters club and barbie - which aren't terrible but BSC is a little old for her (despite that she's also read the graphic ones)...what else is there? On regular Nick (non Jr)? streaming anywhere?

Ugh. My kids mostly watch Netflix and YouTube and it makes me want to claw my eyes out.
They do like to watch a lot of cooking shows like chopped jr, master chef jr, oh - that kids baking show with Duff and Valerie Bertinelli - Kids Baking Championship? They love Holey Moley (the mini golf competition show) and American ninja warrior.
For Nick/Disney shows, I know they have watched and liked: Miraculous Whatever Raven’s current show is Descendants Jessie Bunk’d The Loud House

Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Great animation and brings up discussions on war, friendship, and family relationships.
Plus it is funny.
Legend of Kora is pretty good as well.

Well, R is still weirdly picky about what she watches. Also, we don't have cable, so it's all Amazon or Netflix stuff...
The Deep (Netflix). I actually don't mind this one. Carmen San Diego (Netflix) Kids Baking Championship

tj what is Holey Moley on? This sounds like something J would really love. He is going to be a pro mini golfer when he grows up, so he says.

My kids just finished the series Scaredy Cats on Netflix. It’s Halloweeny (witches) and rated G, I think? Worth a look. Live action. T didn’t pay a ton of attention but H and M loved it. A said it wasn’t too scary - too campy to be scary (I didn’t watch with them, but he did). H says it’s it’s “in the middle scary.”

I do miss good ole George’s Halloween. They also watched the newer adams family the other day. I didn’t watch but P reported not scary. We all watched the princess bride the other night and fast forwarded thru some violence. whoops.

My kids just started watching A Tale Dark and Grimm on Netflix and they love it. It’s edgy enough to seem like it’s really for big kids but not too scary for them. (They’re 9 and almost 7.) It might be too scary for kids who are sensitive to that.
