How are we all doing? I’m so ready to be done.
Birth story to share? I wish. Another 1.5 weeks to go
How’s the remaining pregnancy going?
It’s been a roller coaster the last couple of weeks. Baby is still breech. We tried a ECV on Monday but he refused and was actively pushing back against the dr to keep his butt in my pelvis. I am currently scheduled for a c-section on the 15th and they will try to roll him again with a spinal in so fingers crossed that he either moves on his on between now and then or that it works that time because I’d really like to avoid surgery if possible. Other than all that I’m about the same - super sore/tired/ready to be done.

How are we all doing? Hanging in there
Birth story to share? Not yet!
How’s the remaining pregnancy going? I’m barely hanging in and trying to get through my last day of work next week. We lost a person in my department and these past 3 weeks have been horrible with 12 hour days and weekends trying to figure out how to cover her work. We interviewed 2 temps today so hopefully one will work out.
Csection scheduled for 8/14 so I’m ready to be able to focus on the baby instead of my stress. I’ve been having a lot of Braxton Hicks and cramping so hoping I can at least make it through my last day of work so I can wrap up a few things before I go out to minimize any work I’ll need to do while I’m on leave

Birth story: We went in at midnight on 7/27 to start induction. I started at a very soft 2.5cm. I got cervadil twice overnight and was at about a 4 by 7am. The dads were so excited that they said they hardly slept that night (they were at hotel next door to hospital). Around 7am in conversation with nurses we decided to go ahead for epidural since anesthesiologists were going into C-sections soon. I got that placed and was a happy camper —best epidural I’ve had of my 3 births since I could feel pressure but not pain. Dads showed up around 7:30 super excited. Hospital gave us an exception and let MH and the 2 dads in the room.
My OB showed up about 9am to break water. Then I labored for a few hours, with the dads and MH hanging out. I made good progress and by noon I was at about 9.5. They called for OB and she was there about 12:30 and I was complete. Did a good amount of throwing up in transition which is always fun. Once OB got in I did about 6 pushes and baby boy surrobabe was born at 12:40, 8lb 4oz. One of the dads cut the cord and the dads went over to the warmer to watch baby boy be cleaned up and measured/weighed. Then they immediately did skin to skin for a couple of hours.
I saw and held baby a few times in hospital and then discharged the next day. Dads are home now with their little one and doing so well!! Ive been doing a lot of resting and am enjoying the time off of work. My recovery has been fairly smooth and I’m grateful for that.
Thanks for letting me hang out during the pregnancy. I’m so happy for you guys with your new little ones! I am rooting for those of you still pregnant!

Rea.gan Ora is here! I was the only csection scheduled yesterday but they had a ton of emergency ones come in so I got pushed about an hour from when I was supposed to get mine.
Baby was 22” and 7lbs 11.8oz and has a full head of hair. It’s hard to tell if it’s all red like her big sisters or more strawberry blonde.
The csection went well but took way longer than normal because there is a new OB at my doctors office and she was observing plus I had my tubes removed. Toward the end I could feel all the pushing and pulling as they sewed me up and the hard pushing on my uterus and it was almost unbearable. I usually skip the fentanyl after but took it yesterday then felt terrible for hours . I started feeling better yesterday afternoon and am not in much pain now just on Tylenol.
I’m so happy she’s here and am glad not to be pregnant anymore!

Congratulations sarahh !!
I go in this morning to try to turn him one last time and if not then we will do a csection right then. I’m looking forward to an outside baby and not being pregnant also. 😊

thatgolfb he is! Yesterday was a world wind of a day.
So we were delayed a few hours on Sunday but made it into the hospital around 11 and around 2 i was taken into the OR. I convinced them to place both a spinal and epidural before they attempted to turn the baby - they usually only do the spinal because a second ECV isn’t very successful. Thankfully they did and they were surprised to be able to turn him from breech to head down which turned my csection into an induction. The induction was started around 5:15 pm Sunday night. I woke up at 2:30 with horrible pain (and an extremely low epidural because they were waiting for the spinal to wear off) the nurse checked me and I was only at a 4. We did some position changes and upped the epidural and within an hour I was ready to push. Baby was born at 4:01 am Monday 8/16. It took us most of yesterday to come up with a name but we are both doing great and are waiting to go home today.
