I’m gonna send both. Because facial tissue makes sense, but it’s below cardstock paper, so…
I have no idea.

I would assume the craft/gift wrapping type.

I got N's preschool info today. They insist on sending a "prepackaged snack" that is then placed into a Ziploc bag. No other types of snack containers or lunch bags allowed 🤔. They say fruit or veggies can also be sent, but only in a Ziploc.

I was trying to come up with a theory, like maybe due to covid they want to make sure all kids can open their snack on their own? But then why does the snack inside the Ziploc also have to be in a wrapper? It makes no sense. It's making me sceptical of the whole preschool lol.

We have an approved snack list for school (nut free).
But they have about 5 minutes for snack. And my 4th grader doesn’t eat lunch until after 1pm?!? The worst part is the teacher emailed everyone to make sure they bring enough snack not to be hungry?!??

E and A asked to have their own teachers for kindergarten. I love that they made this choice for themselves, but I’ll admit, I’m a little nervous. They’ve never been separated for more than like 2 hours at a time. We got their teacher assignments yesterday and thankfully their teachers “co-teach” together so they’ll be right next door. I also notice 2 other sets of twins that have the same teacher split. Hopefully everything works out!

Another set of B/G twins are split between their classes, too. I'm hoping the time apart will help them enjoy being together once they're home rather than fight constantly, but I'm sure that's just wishful thinking.

Our school has a mask mandate, and some of the local parents (including a group of parents in my neighborhood who I did not expect this from) are having an absolute shit fit over it and talking about pulling their kids to send to an out of state private school who isn't requiring them, and some other craziness. Thankfully my close mom friends in the neighborhood are not in this bunch and are good with the masking requirement. But these other ones, wtaf. And one mom in particular keeps literally yelling about it at the pool, and saying all these negative things about Biden and the vaccine, etc etc so everytime she shows up I quickly pack my kids up and peace out. It is exhausting. Why must people do this around children? I don't need my kids hearing all this negative garbage. Have your feelings and thoughts, fine, bitch about them at home. Not at the pool.

If you do not know.
Walgreens and Meijer now carry the Abbott rapid tests.
We picked up a couple to test as needed.

Our school division finally declared masks mandatory today 🙌 Later on they also said vaccines are mandatory for all staff. I'm very pleased.
