New meal plans in emeals come out on Wednesday, so I just picked some and placed my pickup order. In no particular order, on no particular day, we will have: Cajun shrimp with cheese grits and roasted asparagus Lemony-ricotta green pea pasta southwest skillet summer squash and goat cheese pasta cherry-banana overnight oats

I'm looking forward to that one. It almost looks like pesto, but with parsley and peas and lemon juice. Then tossed with more peas, ricotta, and parmesan.

You guys. I just made my best poke bowls ever. And it was so easy. Disclaimer I have absolutely zero affiliation with this website. But this is the recipe I used. And the way they broke it down by what steps to do in what order, and what steps you can multitask during was great. The only change I made was drizzling a little sesame oil over the crab pieces before mixing it with the other stuff, but just Bc I love sesame oil. And mh says next time we should shred the crab instead of cutting in chunks, just so it stretches further and mixes in better. But both kids ate their whole bowl and loved it. www.cookingclassy.com/california-roll-sushi-bowls/

That looks really yummy, tj! I’ve never purchased crab at the grocery store before. Any tips for what the good stuff is or what to avoid?

Hmmm… would steamed edamame work with that?
This seems like a really quick recipe you could substitute items in and out.
Also I’ve never had a Poke bowl.

You can do absolutely anything you want in a poke bowl. My favorite poke place serves edamame on the side, but it would go perfectly well in the bowl. Basically it is a sushi roll in a bowl. A lot of people serve it over salad instead of rice, or even both salad and rice. I’ve seen this homemade version made with raw tuna or salmon and with canned tuna and salmon. And we also like to make crab salad (just crab with sriracha Mayo) and use that as the meat. Very customizable. But to me, this recipe had the best routine of when to do what and that was what helped me the most.
