Weeks Pregnant: 33w2d - RCS scheduled for 8/14
Baby is the Size of a: Junior tennis racket
Appointments: This thursday for OB and starting NSTs at my 7/27 appointment
Team? Green/blue/pink? Pink
Rants/Raves? Time is flying here. I have so much to do but no energy to do it. Luckily DH has been stepping up a little bit. Especially since I have been having some bad BH so I think he is worried I will go early.
How are you feeling? Uncomfortable. Baby is moving a ton but they are huge movements which are not comfortable.
GTKY: Have you packed your hospital bag yet? What is something you like to include in your bag that others may forget? I haven't but am planning to this week if I can conjure up the energy. I always bring a baby book so that they can stamp baby's feet directly in it.

Weeks Pregnant: 34+1 induction the weekend of 8/14-8/15 I’ll get to schedule it hopefully at my appointment this week.
Baby is the Size of a: Moon Boot ?🤷🏼♀️
Appointments: Thursday
Team? Green/blue/pink? Blue
Rants/Raves? I’ve been trying to keep DD busy this summer and have her signed up for 3 more weeks of swimming. I don’t know if we will make it through all 3 weeks. It takes all my energy some days to just get her there.
How are you feeling? I’m so over the tired all the time. I can’t seem to get enough sleep/rest. It doesn’t help that I wake up with tingling legs/feet most mornings and that makes me feel even more tired.
GTKY: Have you packed your hospital bag yet? What is something you like to include in your bag that others may forget? I brought the bag out. I’m not planning on packing until the week of my induction. I bring my own pillow and MH makes a bedtime playlist and brings a small Bluetooth speaker to play it on for the first night if baby isn’t there yet to help drown out all the hospital noises. It definitely helped for the overnight part of my induction last time.

Weeks Pregnant: 35w3d
Baby is the Size of a: spaghetti squash
Appointments: 7/19
Team? Green/blue/pink? Blue
Rants/Raves? My sprinkle yesterday was so amazing. My sister did a great job. I feel so loved and blessed. I’ve been struggling this pregnancy with some grief (I had a loss and this is my first with my current husband- my story is a long one for sure). The sprinkle helped me celebrate this new baby and now I’m so ready for him to be here.
How are you feeling? My blood pressure is still an issue, but that’s nothing new. My appointment today went well. I’m having prodromal labor and she did a check and the strep b swab today. My DS was born at 35 weeks which is only 4 days away. Eek! Baby is in position and she could feel his head and I’m starting to progress so we shall see what happens from here.
GTKY: Have you packed your hospital bag yet? What is something you like to include in your bag that others may forget? Mine is packed and ready to go. I’ve got a nursing bra, my toiletries, going home outfits for baby and myself. DH made sure we have chargers and snacks. I think snacks are important since sometimes you’re hungry after delivery/in the night and the cafeteria/meal service is finished.

Ugh same with those big movements that are downright painful sometimes sarahh. And I totally feel you on the exhaustion mrspants. Trying to release the guilt for the screen time with DS and be gentle on myself.

Weeks pregnant: 37+3
Baby is the size of a: honeydew melon
Appointments: weekly OB, next one is 7/15. Induction 7/27 if he’s not here by then.
Team? Green/blue/pink? IPs are having a boy!
Rants/raves: my brand new (to me, it’s used) car is in the shop for 2 weeks and has some major issues. So that’s great. All covered with warranty but I’m not happy.
How are you feeling? Very tired, very big, very uncomfortable. 15 days left to induction date!
GTKY: Have you packed your hospital bag yet? What is something you like to include in your bag that others may forget? Not yet — I keep saying I’m going to but I need to make it happen. I’m not sure if I have anything super special other than very comfy clothes.

Weeks Pregnant: 37+5
Baby is the Size of a: honeydew melon
Appointments: I have an NST today, and OB appt on Friday (I didn’t originally have a 38 week appt, but they are squeezing me in!)
Team? Green/blue/pink? Green
Rants/Raves? It’s so nice to be on maternity leave. I’m uncomfortable, but at least I can rest a decent amount.
How are you feeling? Pretty good, actually. Big and uncomfortable. And extremely tired. I have been sleeping 8+ hours per night and still napping most days. (But, I don’t have much insomnia like I had with number 2 which is GREAT.) I have a cold (took a test, not covid) that is lingering which is annoying, but it’s mostly gone now. I have been having sporadic contractions, but nothing concerning.
GTKY: Have you packed your hospital bag yet? What is something you like to include in your bag that others may forget? Yep, I was packed at about 35 weeks just in case! I packed my own big maxi pads, boob pads in case of leaks, snacks, I’m packing some cans of cold brew coffee (lol desperate times), a couple nursing tanks, a pair of loose yoga pants and a pair of maternity shorts, a cardigan, some face wipes, dry shampoo, hair ties, a comb, my contact lens case and solution, extra long phone charging cord, Kindle, a couple going home outfits for baby, a couple swaddle blankets… I think that’s it. I have extra Dermoplast and Tucks ready at home, but will bring leftovers from the hospital.

My induction is 9 days away. I feel like I will blink and it will be baby time. So crazy!
I was 2 cm dilated and 40% effaced at my 37 week appt last week, and my OB said induction should go very smoothly, if I even make it till then. I have been eating dates. The data supporting consuming dates leading to cervical dilation is tenuous and the sample size small, but I figure, I like them anyway, and they have fiber. So might as well.

In a completely non pregnancy related update, carvana is taking my car back even though it’s outside of its 7 day buy back period. I legit got a lemon you guys. I’m so very happy I can get a fresh start but now I’m off to drive myself crazy choosing another.

thatgolfb I’m glad you are so close to induction day and a little jealous! I’m hoping I can schedule mine tomorrow for around 8/15.
friendofdobby I’m glad they took it back. I hope you can find a new car quickly and have no more issues
