Weeks Pregnant: 32+5
Baby is the Size of a: cantaloupe
Appointments: in 2 weeks
Team? Green/blue/pink? Blue
Rants/Raves? Found out that my hospital has a zero visitor policy (except for my 2 support people) so I’m relieved that my in laws can’t just show up to see the baby like FIL (anti covid/won’t get the vaccine) has threatened to do for months now. So I am feeling great about that.
How are you feeling? Pretty good other than tired and sore. I can’t get much done each day which is driving me slightly crazy because a messy house makes me anxious.
GTKY: Do you have a birth plan? Planned c-section? I’ll be induced at 39 weeks - birth plan is get baby out safely and hopefully without needing a c-section. This is the one area I’m pretty relaxed about and not over planning which is the exact opposite of how I usually am.

Weeks Pregnant: 34 weeks
Baby is the Size of a: Savoy cabbage
Appointments: 7/5- I go weekly now due to my blood pressure issues
Team? Green/blue/pink? Blue
Rants/Raves? I had an episode at the cardiologist yesterday. I was talking with the doctor and his student and all of the sudden was so dizzy. They acted fast and got a lot of information since I was there and already hooked up to an ekg. He’s very optimistic that this is just a part of pregnancy but he is now thinking it’s a side effect of the Covid I had back in March.
A rave is my sister is planning a sprinkle for me (next Sunday) and my best friend from college is coming for it. She will be here next week and I’m so excited! We’ve been so close for 20 years (eek how has it been that long?!?).
How are you feeling? Good days and bad. The dizziness has gotten much worse. But, baby is doing well and that’s all I ask for these days.
GTKY: Do you have a birth plan? Planned c-section? I don’t. I have no idea what will happen with this heart issue. They’re talking about a possible c-section and/or induction early at around 37 weeks due to the stress on my heart. I’m going with the flow and trusting my doctors to come up with a good plan for us. We shall see what happens.

Weeks Pregnant: 36+1
Baby is the Size of a: Cabbage patch doll
Appointments: Just had a growth ultrasound yesterday, and I have a 37 week appt next week. They are going to do the GBS test (I was positive the last two times so it's just normal flora for me, I don't think that will change this time around) and maybe check cervix? Unsure.
Team? Green/blue/pink? Green
Rants/Raves? I have just over an hour left of this work week, and then Tuesday is my last day before maternity leave! I am SO EXCITED just to be off work. I'm so tired lol. I have also been having a lot more hormone induced... feelings. Not just emotional, but I have this weird anxiety in the evenings as I am going to bed that I can't shake. I am keeping an eye on it, in case it turns out to manifest as PPA. I have been fortunate not to have PPD/PPA previously.
How are you feeling? Big. My lower back is constantly killing me. Generally just annoyed at everyone. lol.
GTKY: Do you have a birth plan? Planned c-section? I have my induction set for the 22nd when I am exactly 39 weeks! My OB had no issue with that. Of course, baby could always plan to come earlier than that. But it's nice to have an end date, honestly.

Weeks Pregnant: 31w6d Baby is the Size of a: foam finger Appointments: Next one is 7/15 for regular OB and I think they start NSTs then or the next appointment Team? Green/blue/pink? Pink Rants/Raves? I had a growth scan this week and baby is in the 87th percentile so it looks like she will be big like my last girl. Hopefully not quite as big at 10lbs 2oz though. Otherwise everything looked fine. TW TW TW TW TW Child Loss My cousin was pregnant last year and lost her baby to a placental abruption at 32 weeks which is what I am approaching. She is older like me so I can't help but feel anxious. How are you feeling? Big and uncomfortable and swollen. Baby is head down and putting a lot of pressure down low. GTKY: Do you have a birth plan? Planned c-section? This will be my 4th c-section. Scheduled for 8/14 when I am 38 weeks. Last baby came a few days before her scheduled C-section so I am hoping this one waits it out because I plan to stop working on 8/10 to give myself a few days to relax.

Weeks pregnant: 36 today Baby is the size of a: romaine lettuce Appointments: 7/7 and weekly from here on out Team? Green/blue/pink? IPs are team blue Rants/raves: I’m just ready to have this baby! Super tired and I’m with you on being cranky thatgolfb How are you feeling? Big, uncomfortable, have some pelvic pain starting and a good amount of Braxton Hicks nightly. GTKY: Do you have a birth plan? Planned c-section? So far we plan to induce somewhere in week 39. I’m hoping we nail down a date at this next apt. Growth scan showed baby was back into a good range around 60% (previously he was at 90 so there was some concern). Both dads and my husband are planning to be in the room for delivery barring an emergency or csection. I’m hoping we make it to induction date so we can be sure they are here for the birth.

Weeks Pregnant: 35 + 3
Baby is the Size of a: bunch of carrots
Appointments: today!
Team? Green/blue/pink? Pink
Rants/Raves? Raves- were finally all moved in to our new home! I had my last high risk appointment last week. Little girl is ~5.5lb. I will be induced at 38 weeks. Should know today the exact day & time to show up at the hospital. Not gonna lie, even though I knew being on insulin & anticonvulsants it would happen, it was a shock hearing she will be here in 3 weeks. I felt like this entire pregnancy I kept thinking I had so much time and then boom it’s almost over.
How are you feeling? Still feel pretty great. My sugars are getting harder to control which is annoying. I also have a lot of leg pain at night. Just trying to get a lot of magnesium & potassium in my diet before bed.
GTKY: Do you have a birth plan? Planned c-section? Scheduled induction. Other than that, I’m just going with the flow.

It looks like several of us could potentially deliver around the end of the month. Myself (though my journey will be ending at delivery other than some r&r), thatgolfb, skategirl128, and onyx. It’s going to be a baby boom!

It’s going to be a baby boom! We may all even be the same weekend! Looks like we are all hovering around the 22nd-24th for those of us being induced at certain times. Eek! I have an evening induction so I suspect baby will be most likely to come on the 23rd, if this baby has a similar timeline to its sisters. This is of course if he or she doesn't decide to come earlier within the next couple weeks.

I chose an evening induction because I plan to just ask for the epidural and then sleep on and off until baby comes. It worked perfectly well for DD2, haha.

So I spent today at L&D. Little girl refused to move for the NST in office. Oh, and my doctor is out for an emergency indefinitely so I have to switch doctors to have my induction scheduled since the doctor covering her can’t do deliveries. Luckily, the doctor on call today is taking me so at least I don’t have to find one but yikes. I do not recommend moving and switching OBGYNs within a month of delivery.
Oh, and my body is trying to go into labor. I’m having steady contractions. They’re not dilating me more, but they were hesitant to send me home.
For reference, I’m in florida with this lovely cat 1.

Induction set for 7/27 at 39+4. Was hoping we would be able to do it over the weekend but doctor isn’t on call like she thought she was. So Tuesday it is (unless we go sooner).

At my 37 week appt yesterday, i was 2 cm dilated and 40% effaced, so my OB said things are looking good for my 39 week induction. Yay!

You guys, I am so nervous that I won’t know what contractions truly feel like. I think I have been having them, like pretty sure. But I’m unsure how to time them. I have the lower back cramp/menstrual cramp combo feeling, but then baby is moving a ton and maybe that’s what I’m feeling? Ahh. I’m slightly uncomfortable but they aren’t painful or anything.
I don’t want to have a car or parking lot baby. 😂ðŸ˜ðŸ˜…

I’ve been induced x2 so I have similar concerns about not knowing what labor would feel like if I go before our induction date this time. How are you feeling this morning thatgolfb?

thatgolfb I was induced before and have the same worries. I’ve been having what are I assume are BH for weeks now and I only had them once or twice last time. It’s definitely making me more nervous- especially since we are 45-60 minutes from my hospital this time around.
How are you feeling this morning? I hope things stay calm and you make it to your induction

Thank you both! I kind of figured things would get painful if it were real labor, which didn’t happen overnight, so I think I’m okay this morning.
