This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.

Hi! Hope it’s ok if I join in. I was active here last year and then on my BMB. Jumping into TTC again!
Month/Cycle: 1
CD/DPO: 20/6
Symptoms: none
RRCS: I’ve already forgotten so much about TTC, which seems weird given my obsession over it not too long ago. I’m anxious to test, but I do recall that 6dpo is ridiculously early for testing lol.
GTKY: If you had to switch professions what job would you be interested in? I’d love to be an author. Maybe one day!

Month/Cycle: I no longer know
CD/DPO: CD28, but I am doing an ERA, which is today, so it’s not a “real” cycle
RRCS: Today is my last day on hormones. I am taking a break for a month or two before doing my embryo transfer, because I need a break.
GTKY: If you had top switch professions what job would you be interested in? I would be a Radiology Technologist. Or someone who rates airlines and hotels.

catlady22 I was on clomid before they switched me to letrozole, so the opposite of you, but I honestly didn’t notice a difference between the two as far as side effects go. I hope this is the one that works for you! 🤞🏼

Carmichael Good luck with the ERA. I am hoping the side effects are the same for me too. I went from 5mg letrozole to 100mg clomid this month. Did you do CD 5-9 or 3-7 with clomid?

catlady22 thanks 😊 I am nervous because I heard it hurts, but, not too much I can do about that! I did day 3-7. Which are you doing?

Carmichael hopefully they let you take some pain meds before your procedure and it's not as painful as you've heard 🤞I'm doing 3-7 as well, since they are trying to produce an egg from both sides in the ideal scenario.

I took 100 and took cd 4-8 I think. I was suppose to do 3-7 but July 4th weekend got in the way. I didn’t have too weird of side effects. Took it at night. I think I had hot flashes.

I hope your twins are doing great. So far (3 days in on meds) I don't have any symptoms, so here's to hoping that it continues. I forget did you just do TI with the meds or an IUI for the cycle that worked for you? How many cycles did you do of clomid?

I had one tube to work with, so we were semi-aggressive with my treatment because I really didn’t have the funds for more than 2 treatments. It worked on the first cycle.

When I met with my RE she had already worked with women in similar cases. She didn’t recommend letrozole. I don’t remember why to be honest. She showed me the reviews of some of the women who were in similar cases and their protocols. It was my first time with clomid so she felt like I would be a good candidate because I don’t have pcos.

Hope it's ok to jump in here. We've just started TTC number 2. We have a soon to be 3 year old DS.
Month/Cycle: Cycle 1
CD/DPO: CD 15
RRCS: Feels so weird to be getting back into the TTC mindset. It took us exactly a year to conceive DS. No idea what to expect this time. Going to take a couple of cycles to see what happens then will probably start temping/tracking again, if needed. I remember from last time that my ovulation patterns were a little all over the place, but I feel like I have a better idea of how my body functions than I did when we started TTC last time.
GTKY: If you had to switch professions what job would you be interested in? I would love to be in the medical field, but not sure I could handle the pressure!

I swear my body reacted the opposite way that it should on clomid/letrozole. My opks when I'm not on medication have a peak of like 2.8 and on medication my peak was 0.8. I'll be so glad next month when I can have ultrasound monitoring to know what's going on ...

Hey friends! Late checking in this month but I'm still around.
Month/Cycle: 4 years, 6 months.
Timing: None yet CD/DPO: CD 5
Symptoms: None yet, just normal AF.
RRCS: Nothing big going on right now. We're on our cycle before our appointment with the new RE. I've been trying to do everything right the past few months as far as preparation (healthy eating, exercise, supplements) so I'm still cautiously optimistic that we'll get some help. If I don't get a BFP this cycle. Which would be really nice but I'm much less optimistic about that.
GTKY: If you had to switch professions what job would you be interested in? I currently work in digital marketing, but if I had to switch I'd either want to work in mental health counseling or public policy (specifically related to LGBTQIA+ issues).

I have been MIA because I was feeling so down about this month. I was taken off fertility treatment and refered to a specialist, but there are no appointments until September. TW ahead We almost didn't bother to try this month since I don't normally ovulate on my own. But I turned a test this morning! I have been in shock and just crying all morning because I am so happy. I will keep testing and call my OB tomorrow.
