Easing back into things here, I did a 45 minute PZ endurance ride with Denis this morning, after a 30 minute Alice Coltrane slow flow with Chelsea.
Oh and my first mammogram today. It wasn't bad!

The weather is getting back to tolerable here, finally. We went out to a lake today and met my brother/SIL/their kids there. Played on their stand up paddle boards in a perfect little inlet and now I’m exhausted and have a headache. I am not a warm weather person, lol.
Pizza for dinner because mama is tired of momming 👍

300/900 miles biked (outdoor) this summer—1/3 of the way to my summer goal!! 🚴🏽
8.5 miles today 10 miles yesterday My strength & core are suffering due to trying for mileage, hoping to get back on track, I was doing so well over the winter/Spring. Chips & chocolate are out of control today—AF likes to make her impending arrival known 🤨

My kids had a grandparent sleepover last night so I had some gummies, went to bed early, and slept in until 9:30. Amazing.
12 mile run done - last long run of training! ✅ My feet ache and I'm exhausted. It was humid and gross even thought it wasn't very hot outside.

Happy 4th of July! 5k yesterday morning which was hilly but fun. We ran through 2 local neighborhoods and the crowd support was great. Lots of people on their front lawns with flags and clappers.
I'm sore though. I don't run for exercise on the regular. I just like the fun of races so my hips and back are so sore.
Afterwards we had people over. Grilled brats, smoked a brisket and hung out in the pool.
Today is grocery shopping, Sunday dinner with my H family and then a few friends are coming back over to hang out.

B: banana, kodiak granola bars, coffee w/milk and splenda L: fajitas, chips & brisket queso, drunken bean soup, melon, ice cream cake D: probably nothing officially since lunch will be eaten at 2ish
E: I ended up doing a moderate paced 20 minutes on the elliptical

@holliberry t&ps for getting rid of the pacifier. We did it right after DS turned 2 and the first couple days and nights were rough but after that it was smooth sailing

was up late last night for a fireworks event. it was fun but man i am tired. meet the running club for a 4th run, it was really fun. I realized i actually feel part of the group. lol. 3.25 muggy humid and buggy miles completed.
Today I plan on chilling and there's another fireworks event at the springs near us. FX the rain holds off. I feel like all we do lately is race to beat the rain.

Everyone else is all "no tracking and free for all day" while I'm over here on day one of mine I am so sore from workouts. I'm sore in places where I am not normally sore, which I suppose is the point. My cut calories are not super restrictive so I should be fine on them. It's definitely more than I expected to get.

Happy 4th!
I’m finishing my coffee then heading out for an easy 5 mile run. It’s hot but I’ll manage.
Not sure what we are having for lunch but dinner is steak, au gratin potatoes, roasted veggies, deviled eggs and a strawberry pretzel dessert I saw posted on the food thread.
I’ll probably make what I call margarita refreshers for the pool. A lot of ice, a lot of frozen strawberries and just enough margarita to blend it.

I skipped yesterday and Friday workouts, I couldn’t face the heat on Friday and we went out on a day trip yesterday. But today I got back to it and did a 45 min boot camp with Adrian.
Been trying to keep my eating well balanced but there’s been a lot of ice cream last week. I blame the heat wave and feel no guilt about it

@holliberry28 we just did that two months ago with L, we waited until 3 because of the communication difficulties and self-soothing. It was tough for a day or two but got better quickly. Hope tonight is better!

Just ran 2.5 miles. A little less than I had planned, but we ate a big brunch and my stomach had enough. I start teaching summer school this week and I’m hoping the return to a familiar schedule helps me carve out more consistent running time. I’d really like to do the half in October but I need to start running more regularly again in order to get there.

Rest day here today. I was up bright and early with P and we met up with some friends for a skateboard session— we were there for almost 5 hours! Taking a break now. MH should be back from his trip around 6:30 (hooray!) and then we’re planning on meeting up with friends at a park for the big fireworks show. Going to try to get P to take a nap beforehand because the fireworks don’t start until 9:30!

2.2 mile easy walk today, CD1 ugh so I’m poolside instead of in the water. At least there’s a nice breeze.
I did have a little anxiety or something last night just before bed. I thought I had made it without that this month but it’s ok. I did some breath work and was only restless for a little bit but then slept well. Progress I hope?

20 minute low impact ride with Wilpers 20 minute Daddy Yankee AFO ride with Robin (her first ride back! She's clearly hyped to be back) 10 minute Demi Lovato AFO arms with Kendall 20 minute Depeche Mode AFO core yoga with Kristin
Walking down to the bakery now, then later hanging out in the yard enjoying the weather. It's high 60s, low 70s here today but clear and gorgeous.

The arms was my 200 strength class! I wanted to wait for a love class but there aren’t any for awhile. Maybe I’ll get a live ride in for my birthday instead next week!

We hit the pool for a few hours today and I managed to get all of my exercise and move point in on my Apple Watch just by keeping up with DD and occasionally racing DS to the wall. I still have to get the dog a decent walk before 4th of July fireworks start in earnest.
B - bakery blueberry muffin, coffee with almond milk S - rocket popsicle L - pb&j, apple, chips D - cheeseburger, salad, corn, watermelon DS - s’mores

I’m grumpy and tired today but a short workout helped me feel a little bit better. Still feel like everyone needs to GTF away but here we are.
20 min AFO 21 pilots run with Becs. I think it’s my first Becs run and she’s ok. 10 min arms/light weights with Cody. I haven’t done any of his classes since last year when I had the rented spin bike and I miss him! I giggled out loud a couple times. Love him. Wish he did tread classes. 5 min core with Jess.
Toddler is napping and I might too, then we need to go to the store later.

Yesterday I chose socializing over exercise. But it was nice to be out doing stuff without a mask though it felt really weird. I did a play date in the morning then met some friends at an ice cream parlor that does beer and wine ice cream pairings. The owner was testing out a new flight so gave us one for free in exchange for our feedback. Will definitely be going back!
Today was 30 min pop ride with Cody 5 min Tina Turner cool down with Ally 10 min full body stretch Ben (didn’t know who Gorgon City was but the class was fine)
I was able to squeeze a walk in before lunch and now we’re getting ready to host some friends for a BBQ. I bought an inflatable dino-themed pool with a slide for the kids but now that it’s blown up I’m thinking I’ll try to fit in it myself. It’s hot today!

Wow, willow, I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. I got rear ended and it totaled my car. Thankfully I was also alone at the time because it shattered my back window and B would have had glass all over him had he been there with me. Sending you lots of quick healing vibes so you can move on and get back into your routine. ((hugs))

Day 2 back at the gym! Leg day and I'm already feeling it. I've done some stretching and rolling, but I'll do another good stretch before bed.
I'll be grocery shopping tomorrow since we were given the day off as an observed holiday, and I've made a few notes based on what I'm seeing here. Lunches are gonna be so tasty this week!

I don’t remember my specific June goals, mostly to just do better than the train wreck that was May. I worked out more, did better with getting water in, and cut down on alcohol a good bit. Food was all over the place, but I’ll make it a focus this month. I hopped on the scale the other day and some PMS bloat had me up a few pounds so I didn’t bother weighing again until today, and I’m down about 1.5lbs from where I started in June. July goals — continue working out regularly (3+ times per week), eat decently, and stay hydrated. Today’s workout: 10 min core w/ Rebecca 20 min bodyweight strength w/ Ben 30 min Megan Thee Stallion ride w/ Kendall (a fave ride) Sorry about the accident willow, glad you’re (mostly) okay! Welcome bunnyfungo & bobyn!

I'm not going to weigh myself this week. Maybe not until a few days into next week. My period should start by Friday and with food over the weekend I don't even want to know how big of a fluctuation it will be.

Morning.
We're back from camping and a family reunion. Lots of bad food and alcohol.
We moved a bit over the weekend. I hit 10k steps everyday. Saturday we walked the campground. About a mile of intentional walking. Yesterday we found a hike to do. It's was pretty challenging, more so than we expected. The girls did great, the baby slept in the hiking pack that H carried, and my legs are actually a bit sore even though we only did 1.16 miles.
Today my ILs are coming and we have zero food in the house, so food will likely suck again today. But we'll shop and I'm going to get my shit together this week.
20 minute 2000's run with Jess King 10 minute arms and shoulders with Rad 20 minute yoga after bedtime still in my stack

willow sorry to hear about the accident! That sucks! I am back home from camping until thursday, when we have a site for 10 days. I may commute to work from there or I may leave DH there with the kids during the week, we will see. I want to take some of those AFO rides this week though, especially the tragically hip one. We have been eating a ton of smokies and burgers while camping, so I am looking forward to making different food this week lol.
