Also we’ve had two 100degF days here already. That typically doesn’t happen until mid July. So yes Ted climate change has actual impact

WTAF. Jeffrey Toobin is back on CNN. It's a really startling misstep. I just...there are other, better commentators.

WTAF. Jeffrey Toobin is back on CNN. Wtf is going on over there? First the mess with the Cuomos, now this? ETA also waiting like 3 weeks to fire Santorum after his disgusting comments about colonizing

Also, Ted, PG&E is a private company so the only "policy failure" behind California's blackouts is unchecked capitalism

It’s very weird. Get your shit together cnn - for the intern lurking.

I saw this a few days ago RE Toobin. So uncomfortable.
I’m a hypocrite because I snorted at the comment regarding his return to CNN: you’ve really got to hand it to him, he really pulled that one out.

I'm not looking forward to the next few months with the heat. We prefer 73 all day and night. I'll turn it up a few degrees during the day but I've got to have it on 73 for sleeping time.

Camerota doesn't generally seem like a woman to put up with bullshit so I am really aghast at the whole thing. Uh, editing to say that is not my way of putting it on her. Just that I am really surprised they had it be her.

So next time someone rails against cancel culture just remind them that it’s only “leave the public eye for a couple months” culture.
And look, Toobin made a mistake. A really bad, inappropriate mistake. I’m not saying the man can never work again. But...CNN doesn’t need to give him cover. He should not be in a position of power and this puts him right there.

I can barely talk about it because it’s so awful but did you guys see the story about the grocery store cashier that was shot to death in GA yesterday when she asked a man to put a mask on? It’s so horrible.

Former congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) said Monday that he was among the crowds outside the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, but claimed that he was there to protest the election and did not join others in storming the building. Rohrabacher acknowledged his presence outside the Capitol in an interview with a Maine newspaper. Over the weekend, social media users began circulating photos that appeared to show the former congressman and an associate standing among the pro-Trump crowd. “I marched to protest, and I thought the election was fraudulent and it should be investigated, and I wanted to express that and be supportive of that demand,” Rohrabacher, 73, said in the interview with the Portland Press Herald. “But I was not there to make a scene and do things that were unacceptable for anyone to do.” Former congressman Dana Rohrabacher says he protested outside the Capitol on Jan. 6 By Felicia Sonmez www.washingtonpost.com/politics/former-congressman-dana-rohrabacher-says-he-protested-outside-the-capitol-on-jan-6/2021/06/14/74c5c5e4-cd79-11eb-8cd2-4e95230cfac2_story.html

Between that story, the one from my state where a plantation was holding a "white refugee" Juneteenth event, and Biden not being able to take Communion, I felt a fury in my heart that was too early for a Tuesday morning and I noped right out of WaPo.

Today's Google doodle is the Doodle winner for the year and it is a high school boy who lost his father. The story behind it is so lovely and heartbreaking.

AG Garland is speaking on the exec committee on domestic terrorism.
Paraphrased.... FBI is stating that racially motivated crimes are the biggest domestic terror threat SPECIFICALLY those espousing white supremacy.
ITS ABOUT TIME SOMEONE IN AN OFFICIAL CAPACITY SAID THAT

It’s so horrible. This is the only reason I am glad we don't have a mask mandate anymore. I work in retail, and we had some aggressive customers during the mandate. My coworkers and I are all vaccinated and wear masks at work, so I am not as worried about us, and my assistant manager said he was relieved not to be threatened anymore. Some people are really horrible.
