I’ve seen people on twitter screaming about the cost to taxpayers and I’m just like good lord it’s not like a golfing trip and I’m positive she did not pay for them. People need to get a grip but that is asking too much I know.

I don’t like those kind of cookies with the icing all over them and I am a huge sweets person. The cookie is usually icky and the icing is not great. I know they are very popular for events but I don’t touch them.

Gimme a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie over fancy decorated iced cookies any day. Deep cookie thoughts today.

Iced Lemon chip, chocolate chip and some huge cookies and cream chocolate cookie. they were warm and delicious.

I’m conflicted on this one unless I’m misunderstanding. Is it just because of the name having dream in it? Aren’t all bouncy seats technically at an incline? So why single out FP on that one unless all other bouncers have a warning.

I haven't had any issues at this point, but there was a major server outage. ... New York (CNN Business)Countless websites and apps around the world went down Tuesday after Fastly, a major content delivery network, reported a widespread failure. Fastly supports news sites and apps like CNN, the Guardian, the New York Times and many others. It also provides content delivery for Twitch, Pinterest, HBO Max, Hulu, Reddit, Spotify and other services... Amazon, Target, gov.uk. others also affected. link

So why single out FP on that one unless all other bouncers have a warning. Yes, it lacks the warning that it is not a product intended for sleep and can confuse a consumer with the marketing that includes phrases like "dreams". Language matters! LIke why not just call it the Snugabbaby Active Bouncer? And also add a damn warning about sleep. People trust (whether or not they should) a brand like fisher price not to sell their kids unsafe items.

People trust (whether or not they should) a brand like fisher price not to sell their kids unsafe items. Yes. All of this started to go down right before my kiddo was born and I'm highly anxiety prone so I read up extensively on this. The words "sleep", "dreams", etc - imply that the device is safe to sleep in - and these were never actually tested to be sleep devices. It was also in all of the mom groups as a lifesaver for kids who have reflux, and Fisher Price knows it. There was a lot of arguing over "well IIIII never let my kid sleep in it because I'm not an idiot" but it was always a go-to suggestion as a total game changer to get babies to sleep when they couldn't be flat. It also feeds into the "do your research!!" craziness when trusted companies like FP quite literally did not do their research and babies died because of it.

“There were significant, widespread and unacceptable breakdowns in the intelligence gathering. . . . The failure to adequately assess the threat of violence on that day contributed significantly to the breach of the Capitol,” Sen. Gary Peters (D-Mich.), chairman of the homeland security panel, told reporters. “The attack was, quite frankly, planned in plain sight.”

According to the report, Capitol Police intelligence officers knew as early as Dec. 21 that protesters planned to “bring guns” and other weapons to the Jan. 6 demonstration and turn them on any law enforcement officers who blocked their entry into the Capitol. They knew that would-be rioters were sharing maps of the Capitol campus online and discussing the building’s best entry points — and how to seal them off to trap lawmakers inside. But that information was shared only with command officers.

Might start to see calls for Wray to step down:
According to the report’s findings, the FBI alerted the Capitol Police of potential “war” only the night before Trump’s rally, attaching the warning to a casually worded email that was shared with other law enforcement agencies — and the warning was picked up by a Capitol Police intelligence unit separate from the one that had been preparing the threat assessments.

😳
According to the findings, “fewer than ten” uniformed officers had actually been trained in how to use the “full suite of less-than-lethal munitions” that Capitol Police rely on for mob control, and much of the equipment in the force’s possession was either defective or inaccessible during the attack.

The Capitol Police chief never filed a formal request to call in the National Guard, they determined, despite repeatedly asking his superiors to procure such backup — and the members of the Capitol Police Board still disagree about whether approving such a request needed to be a unanimous decision.

According to its findings, it was Army staff — not Trump — expressing early reservations about a military intervention, while the Army secretary claimed he was never informed that the D.C. National Guard had a quick reaction force “ready to go” to the Capitol, just awaiting his approval.
