How is it June already?? friendofdobby I can't believe next month is the month for us! Well, it will be for me, at least; I have never gone late, and I don't think I will start now... Weeks Pregnant: 32+1 Baby is the Size of a: pomelo, or armadillo Appointments: I have a 33 week appointment next week (mine got a bit off track in scheduling). I am into the every 2 week appts! Team? Green/blue/pink? Green Rants/Raves? I finally got a start date for my maternity leave- July 8th, 37 weeks. My employer, despite being a state university hospital, uses a private insurance company, and they usually approve disability leave at 38 weeks (the state EDD approves at 36 weeks). But, due to covid, I guess they are approving an extra week. So that's nice! How are you feeling? Weirdly good? I mean, definitely uncomfortable at this stage. I'm hot all the time, and moving and breathing are getting tougher. But I am better overall than I think I had been feeling with either of my previous pregnancies at this gestation. My memory could also just be bad, lol. My BP is so far doing quite well, and baby is measuring right at average (my other two measured big, which was cause for them to monitor me extra). I was thinking I would likely be induced at 39 weeks again this time around, but now, I am not so sure. I have never gone into labor on my own before, and the thought makes me a little nervous. I have either had my water break or been induced, and not had to time contractions! I will just see what my OB thinks, and go with whatever she says. At least my mom and MIL will both be in town starting around 39 weeks, and should be available to watch the kids whenever I do have to get to the hospital. We also do have friends we can call in case of emergency. Fingers crossed that won't be necessary. GTKY: Are you having a shower/sprinkle/baby celebration of any kind? I know we are all second time parents, at least, so maybe not as much of a big deal this time around! My close friends are throwing me a sprinkle on Sunday, which is very sweet of them. I definitely would never have asked for one, especially with a third kid, but they insisted. Really it's just an excuse to get our families together and eat cake.

I think I have reached the perpetually hungry but no room for food stage of pregnancy.

thatgolfb I know I can’t believe next month is July! This baby should definitely be end of July— we are talking induction somewhere in week 39, unless I go sooner of course. My babies are historically comfortable so I bet I hit induction date. DS was induced at 41w, DD at 39. I am soooooo ready already. 7 week countdown is on.

Weeks pregnant? 32 today
Baby is the size of a: average pineapple
Appointments? OB next week and every other week now. Growth ultrasound again on 6/29.
Team? Green/pink/blue? IPs are team blue.
Rants/raves? we are in the new house!! So much more space and I’m so happy. It’s been sooooo much work and will be for awhile but it’s worth it.
How are you feeling? Really big and pretty uncomfortable. Patience and energy are low. We also have all passed around a cold and it’s my turn now.
GTKY: What is your go to/ comfort/ sick day movie, if you have one? I’d have to think more on this one. I do really enjoy frozen/moana with DD on weekend mornings with coffee. That probably sounds very lame but it makes me happy.

Oh I just realized I changed the GTKY question on my own thing but not on the main post. LMAO. Ignore me.
Anyway, my sick day movies are Mamma Mia (1 and 2) and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (1 and 2)

friendofdobby, not lame! I love the lazy weekend mornings watching Disney movies with the girls. Frozen and Moana are always on the rotation here, too. Lately they have both been super into Bluey, which I enjoy.

Weeks Pregnant: 29 tomorrow
Baby is the Size of a: Potato Head
Appointments: 6/17- down to every 2 weeks now
Team? Green/blue/pink? Blue
Rants/Raves? I few giant already and this summer is already hotter than the last few summers.
We are also moving DD down into her new room this weekend. We move her bed tomorrow.
How are you feeling? Giant and tired/uncomfortable. But otherwise I’m feeling ok.

Weeks Pregnant: 30w3d
Baby is the Size of a: cantaloupe
Appointments: 6/8 for OB and cardiology
Team? Green/blue/pink? Blue 💙
Rants/Raves? My blood pressure remains low but I’m now able to catch when it drops too low.
How are you feeling? When my blood pressure is stable (low but stable) I’m doing pretty well. I’m tired all of the time but that’s a result of my heart working harder to keep my blood pressure stable (that’s what cardiology said anyways). I have been starting to get uncomfortable at times but it’s not too bad yet. Baby is an intense kicker which my DS was not. I’m glad this one is so active it helps with my anxiety. I’ve adjusted to not driving and basically laying low- but my family has been great about getting me out a little or visiting. I’m so hopeful we will really be able to go to our cabin in 10 days for our last vacation as a family of 4.
GTKY: What is your go to/comfort/sick day movie, if you have one? I was an ice-skater in middle/high school and college so I love The Cutting Edge.

Weeks Pregnant: 28w3d
Baby is the Size of a: eggplant
Appointments: Glucose test and OB in a little over an hour, growth scan at the end of the month
Team? Green/blue/pink? Pink
Rants/Raves? I am at the point in pregnancy that I am done. Work is stressful and I'm ready to be off work for a while. I also have done like nothing to prepare for baby.
How are you feeling? Big and hot. And my legs/ankles are starting to swell.
GTKY: What is your go to/comfort/sick day movie, if you have one? I don't really have one. I like to binge HGTV or I like when I can catch Sex and the City on E!. I have all the dvds but no dvd player haha.

I got my HR paperwork for disability squared away, which is such a weight off my shoulders. Just having a date in mind is awesome. I think my doc accidentally gave me an extra day, so I will actually be 36w 6days when I start my leave, lol. I need to double check that that's right. But yay- T minus 4 weeks and 1 day (or maybe 2 days)!

Weeks Pregnant: 31 + 4 (I actually had to check my app to remember 😅)
Baby is the Size of a: head of romaine lettuce
Appointments: MFM for NST & sugar check in 1 week, general OB in one week, & MFM for another growth scan at 33 +6
Team? Green/blue/pink? Pink!
Rants/Raves? Almost done packing, off bed rest for now, decided to hire a professional cleaner for the house we are selling instead of cleaning ourselves after movers leave. So all raves right now.
Oh, but I did have to start insulin for my fasting numbers, which isn’t as awful as I expected.
How are you feeling? TMI but I have pooped more in the last 3 days than I care to admit.
GTKY: What is your go to/comfort/sick day movie, if you have one? All the Harry Potters.
