This is a combined TTC thread for EVERYONE currently TTC. Whether you're a first timer, a many timer, or an old timer come on in and pass the time as we struggle through WTO and the dreaded TWW.
As this is a combined thread there will be talk of LC, losses, and IF struggles. If any of these are hard for you please just let us know in your first post and I'm sure the lovely ladies on here will be happy to add TWs to accommodate.

Month/Cycle: I have honestly lost track
Timing: I had my egg retrieval on Monday
RRCS: Out of 13 eggs, 10 could be injected and 8 fertilized. We will get an update on Sunday how many, if any, we’re able to be sent for genetic testing.
GTKY: What fun things are you doing this summer? We have no plans but really need to make some!

Oh and catlady22 I just saw that you asked in the last thread about meds, but I took 4 rounds of clomid and had horrible hot flashes that lasted all month. I switched to letrozole this cycle and didn't notice any side effects.

I already ovulate on my own, just took it to help my chances with iui. I had one ultrasound each cycle before scheduling the iui and had 2-3 mature follicles each time. Will your doctor not give you an ultrasound to see how you respond to the meds?

Month/Cycle: 4 1/2 years. I think this month is month 54.
Timing: None yet
CD/DPO: CD 6
Symptoms: Still on AF.
RRCS: So last month was the first month we've really actively "tried" in a while. After getting the infertility diagnosis last year (potentially blocked tubes) and being told they won't do further diagnostic tests or treatment and we can't do IVF or really anything else because of my weight, we weren't trying but not preventing it. Last month we intentionally hit the timing perfectly and still nothing. Seems like insanity to keep trying knowing that it probably won't happen, but it hit me pretty hard actually. I turn 41 this month. I'm trying to lose weight but it's not easy. I kind of feel hopeless, like maybe this isn't in the cards for us. My first and only turned 13 over the weekend and I'm sad thinking that in 5 years my only child will be an adult and off to college and that'll be it.
GTKY: What fun things are you doing this summer? This year we're really not doing much of anything. We're planning a big move at the end of the year so we're saving every penny for home buying and moving costs.

I ovulate on my own, they just hoping to improve my chances. My dr ordered letrozole 5mg? No monitoring.

I'm sorry radiantfate, that's so tough. I don't remember if you mentioned it, but did they do an hsg to confirm if your tubes are blocked?

I'm sorry radiantfate , that's so tough. I don't remember if you mentioned it, but did they do an hsg to confirm if your tubes are blocked? So here's the thing with that...I had an HSG done two years ago. During the HSG, the doctor doing the procedure said one tube looked blocked but the other was open. Then when I had my follow up, another doctor (same practice) said both were blocked (even though I could see for myself on the screen during the HSG that one tube had dye spill, which should mean it's open to some degree I think?). I requested my medical records from them a few months ago so I could see for myself, since I got conflicting information, and the surgical report says one patent tube, one blocked, but then the doctors notes say both are blocked. I got a second opinion and that doctor was literally an asshole who didn't examine me and just said "if you lose weight you'll get pregnant") and sent me on my way (that's the cliffs notes) and I'm terrified of getting a third opinion. (Backstory: I had a really super shitty OB/GYN when my son was born 13 years ago who caused a somewhat traumatic birth experience, it literally took me 10 years to go back to an OB/GYN. My new OB/GYN is great, but the RE that I got the second opinion from was really, really rude beyond what I said above, he wouldn't even examine me, just took one look at me, sat me down, and started lecturing me and telling me I'm a bad mother and it would be irresponsible to have more kids simply because of my weight, which set me right back to where I was before I got the courage to start getting help for infertility in the first place.) The first RE I went to (who did the HSG) told me to lose 50lbs and they'd do a hysteroscopy with tubal cannulization but I haven't been able to reach that weight loss goal yet.

radiantfate wow, you have had some terrible Drs. I'm sorry you have had to deal with that. I hope you can ignore them and find one that is helpful to get your answers.

TW I think I'm pregnant! I'm 13dpiui today and have been getting faint lines since Saturday, but I didn't test out my trigger, so wasn't sure if it was real. But today my cheap tests are finally getting noticeably darker. Called the RE and will get betas tomorrow. I'm super nervous though since the last time I got a bfp it ended early at 5 weeks.
And this is my first spoiler so I hope I did it right!

Month/Cycle: This makes 1 full year of TTC#3...1 chemical cycle 2 and a 7 week loss cycle 6
Timing:I don't know. This cycle was weird. Either-2, -1, O or -2, -1, +1 OR something completely different. I had late O, two surges, and then the way my temp rose I *think* I ovulated on the day of my peak (during my second surge) but it could have been any day in like a 4 day period so who knows.
CD/DPO: 26/between 5 and 8? I'm thinking probably 7 but FF says 8 and tempdrop says nothing:/
Symptoms: Nausea and a lot of creamy cm.
RRCS: Just want to say hi:) I see a lot of names I know. I haven't been here for a while but we've still been trying. I stopped temping for a while but I just turned 42 a few months ago and I'm really hearing the ticking of the clock so ALL the stops have been pulled out at this point. My most recent loss was January and I'm starting to feel like maybe our 2 losses this year were our last chance...but I'm hoping I have 1 good egg left somewhere in there. I had 2 losses between my 2 girls too so I'm hoping if I do get pregnant again that the next one will be a sticky one.

Update to my frustrated/down post from last week --
I saw my therapist last week and talked through a lot of what was going through my head. Also talked it through with DH. I told him I wanted to at least get updated bloodwork and stuff since all of the tests we had done were over two years ago, but I was terrified to call another RE after what we went through with the first two. He told me the least he could do was make that phone call for me -- and he did. We have an appointment with a new RE in August! We both talked w/ someone at the practice first and got reassurance that this doctor would not treat us the same way (she was actually appalled at what we told her), and this doctor has rave reviews on Google and Fertility IQ, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Unless, of course, we get a BFP before then. :fingers crossed:
