Are you itchy @starzia, or 'just' fire? Just fire Lotion and compression socks, I've become a HUGE fan of sockwells

There are some new people outside of my office and they are so LOUD!!!! In no mood and hate being that person who always closes her office door Are they just standing outside your door, or are they in work stations near you? Not that being loud is acceptable in either case, just the former makes me so mad - the hallway is not a meeting room! (This is a UO around my office, apparently...) Hopefully if it's the latter they'll eventually learn and quiet down?

cakewench. I will say something to people who just congregate (so annoying). These guys are in workstations and clearly haven't adapted well from the work from home volume 😂

Am I the only one who seemingly random can start crying over well ... everything really? I am just so tired and nauseous pretty much 24/7 amd things so early overwhelm me or are just too much.

@starzia sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable! My feet are swollen and itchy (and my legs) too but mostly just later in the evenings. Hopefully compression socks will bring some relief! Also I hear you on like.. baby can come whenever she wants once I reach full term next week! Maybe we won't have everything done as we originally planned but so be it- at moments like right nowI just don't see how to deal woth all for 4 more weeks lol. PlusI just want to hold her in my arms so badly!

You are not the only one! My BIL sent a report from where he is in Ethiopia about some girls that escaped really bad situation. I know I would not be able to handle reading it so I time DH to give me a report. I'm crying half the day it seems. ETA I'm only 6 weeks. Should I be looking forward to this not changing the whole pregnancy?

pepperpottsj, I can barely handle people being loud at appropriate venues. I'd definitely be closing my door. Lol @starzia, I second Pepper, compression socks. Try and elevate your feet if it's possible. muscari, I'm not crying but definitely feel a little out of control with my emotions. Going from totally fine to super annoyed very quickly at the slightest inconvenience. MH has been a saint to overlook the crazy. 😝

My belly button is thisclose to popping out and I'm not a fan. I don't want an outie! I almost want this baby to come today so it doesn't happen. 😂
I went for a hike and had sex yesterday hoping something would happen. But nada.

Not just you. We went to a private party at the water park last night, and I was *this* close to losing it because of all of the people (the crowd was a fraction of a normal day, so good thing we didn't go earlier). DH could see me welling up and pulled me into the lazy river and away from everyone. Not sure if that was for my benefit or the small children I would have scared.

Hi everyone! I'm still here 24 weeks now. Baby is kicking loads and enjoys kicking me when I'm pooping. Yay. I've passed a couple of my not great milestones from my first pregnancy (renal colic, bleeding) and am approaching a preterm labor one (one of 3). My body seems to be handling this pregnancy dramatically better so I'm hopeful it's gonna be smooth sailing. Hope everyone is doing well and having a good Tuesday!

Is anyone planning on bringing a yoga ball to the hospital? I know some hospitals provide one, but mine does not.
I'm wondering if I should wait to inflate it until we get to the laboring room.

Funny you ask cause I was just wondering this myself last night. I don't think my hospital provides then.. but was wondering how to inflate it while at the hospital as we just have am electrical pumpthing we can't bring with..! 🤔

So glad to read you passed so many difficult milestones - and your current pg is treating you a bit gentler. I hope you will pass the next milestones with ease as well!

But it's supposed to be helpful during labor? I'd be nervous to keep it in the car while it's inflated because it's always 100* plus here and the car can get up to 130* easy while in the sun.

I was so glad I didnt have a popped out belly button but fear maybe I spoke too early haha. Around my belly button and tracing down it feels like my muscles are being slowly torn apart and it feels flatter and numbish and also has lost all color. So odd! Anyone else has this?

I thought I'd be safe from it popping out as well, but I'm actually feeling more of the pressure in that area now than ever before. It does feel a little flat and numb too, and it feels like it could split at any moment. I know this will sound crazy, but it's the most uncomfortable feeling I've had this entire pregnancy.

For me I also wonder whether I would actually get to use it since I will get an epidural early on to keep my ticker as stressfree as possible during labor. So who knows how soon after getting to the hospital I will be pretty much stuck to my bed with the epidural?? But at the same time I want to have it in case I could use it. Aaahhh I dunno LOL!!

I think for me my muscles have actually split some already. I can feel it when I gentle put some pressure on the area. I brought it up at the MFM when I first started to notice and he wasnt concerned and said it was normal so uhm okay 😯 guess it will pull back after giving birth?? It stayed the same for many weeks but has started to bug me more again since a week orso! It is rather uncomfortable for sure - tho have to admit my constant nausea bothers me more so 🤢

muscari, I think I've heard of women still being able to use the ball with an epidural. But im assuming it depends on how high your dose is. I was also thinking of using it if I start having contractions while at home and waiting to see when I need to make my way to the hospital. As far as the stomach muscles ripping, I do not think any woman gets out of that unscathed. Seems like it's pretty much always going to happen. I just really hate the feeling of it. Sorry you're still dealing with a lot of nausea.

Sorry you're still dealing with a lot of nausea. Really? I was told that while I wasnt necessarily stuck flat on my back in bed, but would be able to be helped in different poses still - after I had expressed I would have liked to be able to sit and use gravity some during labor etc - it did sound like I wouldnt be able to stand /walk no more.. so not sure about the ball? Maybe I should ask! And yeah I think so too re the ripping of muscles! The thought and feeling is just sort of eeeek?? 😊

I guess it all just depends on how you react to the medicine. I'm still on the fence on whether or not I'll get one.

I'm glad it doesn't weird you out though. I just have a weird thing about my belly button in general. Like I hate when people touch it and idk. I'm strange. But I've heard it's a good sign if it does, it means your baby's butt/back are in the right birthing position.

Tbh I hope to have some feeling left.. being completely numb waist down just sounds too freaky and uncomfortable! Plus from what I understand that could also influence whether or not I can push well enough etc which may lenghten labor which may have influence on the baby etc. Ohwell we will see!! I had hoped to have more of a say when it came to whether or not I would opt for an epidural yes/no but was overruledby my cardiologist and MFM so yeah. Tis okay tho, once I had gotten used to the idea.
