That is great news, dc2london. I plan to pocket a lot of what I get to save for the twins going back to a private center in January 2022 (sobs). I'm glad they figured out how to do it so that the distribution would actually work monthly for everyone.

Geez. We are gonna need some anti-trust rulings soon -- across multiple sectors.

AT&T is combining WarnerMedia and Discovery. Thats..............probably not good Slight modification - AT&T spinning off Warner Media (HBO, etc.) to Discovery. Subject to regulatory approval. It does get AT&T out of the venture. And also does create another major streaming player. This has been expected for a while, from what I've been reading over the last year. Of course, now I wonder if I'll still get my 'free' HBO with my AT&T phone line LOL - but won't be happening tomorrow. Discovery CEO David Zaslav will run the combined business, according to Monday's announcement. www.cnn.com/2021/05/17/media/warnermedia-discovery-deal/index.html

My husband is a smart man but he doesn't get taxes and finances. I sent him this link and an explanation about how the credit applies to us. His response: "huh?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm sure SCOTUS trifling with Roe now has nothing at all to do with the midterms

Well, if it goes through, I would guess some affiliation. Maybe like Disney+/Hulu/ESPN? You can subscribe to one part or all? I'll have to see what AT&T says in my bills. I'm sure I'll be getting some communication from them and from Discovery somewhere along the line. Although it's early days before this goes its regulatory way, I think. I'm still kicking myself a little that I didn't do the whole package when I got Disney+ 'early'. I mean, sure I got Disney+ for like $5 a month and I didn't care about ESPN. But Hulu would have been nice. I try not to get a lot of streaming channels - I have Xfinity and there's quite a lot of content there to start out with, although quite a lot of cost. I am fond of Peacock, though.

Amazing that 2020 was such a shitshow that we all just sort of glossed over the UFO news.

Then I use my family's subscriptions to Netflix and HBO Max. So in total we watch things on 5 platforms which just feels so stupid.

I always forget about prime.

Prime Video is just a bonus that I get. We do watch it on occasion. My kids love their original kids shows. ETA I did count it as one of the 3 though

We do Prime, Netflix, and Disney+. I didn't even know we had HBO, but apparently we'd been paying for it for 18 months before we knew, so we have that too. One of the kids must of watched something on a "free trial." SMH

The UFO news made me laugh so hard, like hi yes UFO's? Cool. Please take the Trump family and also I am busy making Chrissy Teigen's banana bread. Lets discuss this later after the pandemic.

We have Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Disney+, Discovery+ and Prime. It's damn near cable again, but there are things we watch on each

So I have DISH, Prime, Hulu, Netflix, I use my ex Disney+, and my dads HBOmax accounts.
I would cut Dish but my internet isn't always stable and buffering irritates me; I forget I have Hulu. I almost did Discovery+ but I just cant add one more thing. And I have the full discovery channel line up on Dish, the problem is the content is now mostly reruns and not new, which is really frustrating.
