I woke up thinking it was Monday...
I have no motivation to work, and I'm ready for vacation next week.

Both kids were up at 6:30, why? They normally are up at 7 on school days. Hoping to get some coffee once I get to work. It looks like it’s going to be a nice day.

I always feel odd when everyone says what time their kids get up here. School starts at 8 and bus is at 7:30. When I went to the office my kids were at daycare by 7:05. DS1 is up by like 6:30 at the latest.

yeah my kid got up at 5:30 this morning, pretty typical. If he does sleep in i wake him up by 6:30 so he can eat breakfast before we have to head to daycare.

It’s a nice day here. We’re going to work through lessons and then take some time at the park later. I’m also going to have the kids help clean up the garden. I’m loving this spring!

DS1 is up by like 6:30 at the latest. I think it depends on transportation to school (bus time or parents drives/walks) and maybe age of child. And time it takes child to lolly gag lol Mine is not school age yet so I get her up at 7 and it only takes me about 20 minutes to get her ready and we're out the door by 7:30. Grandma's house is 5 minutes from my house and my work is 15 min away.

I have a derm appointment in just a bit. I’m nervous about what my next course of treatment is for my skin since the last one didn’t do a thing.
Since I didn’t have to get to work by 8:00, DS and I walked to school. I wish we had time for that every morning.

It’s been gloomy and rainy for a few days and will continue until Friday. I’m over mopping up dirt and mud from the dog and kids. It’s been so beautiful the last few weeks so I’m annoyed April break is like this.

When DD starts preschool she can actually sleep later since it's a "special program" they don't offer any type of before care so we can't bring her til like 10 til 8.
DHs work is salary so he will be adjusting his work schedule 15 minutes late so he can take her and then go to work.
I was a tad wtf do working parents do then. If we couldn't adjust our schedule then the bus would have had to pick her up at grandma's and two transitions in the morning sounds awful for her. I'm also not mentally ready for my comm delayed 3 yo to ride a bus.
That was word vomit sorry 🤣

I'm at home but my H doesn't go in to work until 9ish. The middle child leaves for school at 7:30 but he doesn't need my help with breakfast so even then I don't get up before 7.
I've tried in the past to naturally change when I wake up and I just really don't do well with getting up before 7. If I have to I make it work obviously but we're all trying to stay in bed as long as we can in my house.

First thing this morning while I was still half asleep, I knocked a new bottle of soap out of the cabinet and on to my toe. It bled a little and hurt so bad but my Lu came and checked on me and it was the sweetest. Still hurts though.

How long is an IUD string supposed to be? I thought they cut it pretty short but I can feel it loopdy-looping. Does that mean it has moved?

I just can't. We recently had a story in the news about a bus driver for our state school for the severely disabled abusing a student on the bus. Definitely my anxiety brain going overdrive but I just can't. When she could tell me if something was wrong I would feel better.

I’m obviously not a great authority on this, but I think it varies by doctor who inserts it. I could never feel my strings, but I also have very short fat hands. I had 4+years of not being pregnant with it, for what it’s worth. And even after getting pregnant, the iud was still in place

I've never felt my IUD even when it moved and flipped upside down. DH said that sometimes he has felt it but I've never felt it. Please go to a new OB and get an U/S. I don't think you are ready for an oops IUD baby! the never ending saga

Found out I’m getting a nice little bonus end of the month so already spending it in my head. Bag, shoes... What I actually want is to redo the main bathroom so maybe put the money towards that.
Got some great feedback from DD’s piano teacher, she only started in December and she is doing so well.

This sounds amazing! By the way I took your advice and we called a family friend we know who does landscaping and we got a quote for $200 cheaper. Good thing since they guy who we originally were going to use went AWOL for a week and a half.

Does anyone use Thrive cosmetics? I think I'm going to try their mascara and eyebrow pencil. I saw that if you refer a friend you both get $10 off, so I'm willing to share my email with someone who wants to send me a referral??

I really need to move to Germany. This is my dream schedule

I’m the same. I’m a much happier, healthier person if I can sleep past 7am. My ideal wake up is around 7:30am. The whole family rolls out of bed between 7:30 and 8ish right now. We’re lucky that our school and work schedules allow for it.

Also in word vomit news, my intermittent fasting is going well and I feel very great blood sugar wise and have lost a couple lbs. I know that's probably water weight but I'm super excited to add in some gym time soon. Waiting for finances to align to sign up for the gym.

How long is an IUD string supposed to be? I thought they cut it pretty short but I can feel it loopdy-looping. Does that mean it has moved? I don’t think that would indicate a shift - the string is pliable. They cut mine shortish and it curled itself up against my cervix so that I can’t feel it at all (sorry for the tmi). My OB emphasized that if it was uncomfortable for me in regular life or got in the way with sex, they could trim and reposition it.
