Happy April everyone! I'm pretty sure my scale played an April Fools joke on me this morning because I lost another 2.1 lbs. I'm down a total of 17 now, 9.1 of which were in March. Also hit my lowest weight since June of last year. April goal is just to keep up the momentum and try to do the same as March. I'm also in absolute love with Chase Tucker's Pop Punk walk. He's so motivating and positive. Since I've really been inactive for the last, oh, four years, I'm easing in and doing that + HC's resistance band upper body every other day and one of the 10 minute ab workouts on the off days. I used to run 5ks, it's somewhat sad that making it through the 30-minute walk is so challenging but hey, it's better than continuing to sit on the couch. Girl, those peloton walking classes are sneaky hard! Don't short change your efforts! Also, another plus one to Adrian. He's one of my favorites, and also really nice to look at, lol.

A box from peloton showed up today. H's name is on it, but he also placed our bike order. I resisted the urge to rip it open and he hasn't opened it since he came home hours ago. It's either the accessories we ordered with the bike, or a birthday present, which is why I didn't tear into it. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if I can check our delivery status. I know which card we put it on, so I should hopefully be able to get the info even though the order isn't under my account. I'm getting so excited!

Yikes how is it April?!
I don’t think I had goals last month to be honest but I’ll set some for April: - Keep up the HCOTF calendar - Limit drinks to 3 days/week - this is a silly NSV long term goal but I’d like to feel comfortable enough to workout in either just sports bra or crop top and leggings. I’m really trying to avoid the scale and just go based off how I feel, and I can tell my clothes are fitting better already so this will be my litmus test of really feeling myself 🤣

As for today:
I’m really loving that they switched the calendar this month to put active recovery days on Thursdays because it’s my busiest clinic day.
15 min Pilates with Aditi 10 min Yoga sun salutations with Aditi 10 min Restorative yoga with Aditi

10 min arms/shoulders with Andy the golden retrieverLOL but it is so true. The chest/back I did with him the other day - he was extra-Andy. A thing I didn't think was possible. I did his latest five minute core today and he went on and on about burnt toast. It was actually funny tho.

My goals for April are to get in 30 minutes of movement a day and for my ankle to heal. I twisted it on vacation this week and I can walk on it, but I feel twinges of pain if I move it a certain way. So, to go to the doctor or not? What would April motivation do? I’m going to do a 20 minute bike ride and a 20 minute strength workout. Upper body and some core. Have a great day! I would not go if you can put weight on it. Rest, ice, maybe tape it for good measure, and give it a couple of weeks before you try to run on it. Thank you cnf and caer! I just want to run, lol.

I did Hannah F’s latest 20 minute 80s ride, which was great. I just modified by not going out of the saddle and my ankle felt fine. I also did a 10 min upper body with Ben and a 5 minute core with Andy. It felt good to be back at it after vacation.

Happy April, OMG. I am so ready for spring, the weather is glorious here.
I'm really thankful HCOF switched rest days to Thursdays, because I needed a second recovery day in a row after H was up until 3am dealing with an IT issue (not saving babies but still kept us from sleeping. UGH)
Buuuut, I'm a sucker for challenges, so I did a HIIT ride also today.
10 minute sun sals with Aditi 5 minute warmup ride with Leanne 20 minute HIIT ride with Emma 15 minute pilates with Aditi
I'll have to do the 20 minute floor poses tomorrow because I'm burrrrnt.
As for March, the scale hasn't really moved much for me but I am feeling really good about my body, and strong, so I'd like to keep that up. More water, always.

Happy April! We’re currently on spring break which has been great (lots of running on the beach) and not so great (so.many.treats). Wrapping up tomorrow, it will be nice to get back to our routine.
March was great for me! After discovering my love for the Peloton tread classes, I ran 45 miles in March, vs. 9 in February. Running outside this last week had been awesome but I can feel my plantar faciitis flaring, so as much as I’d like to get one last beach run in, today will be a rest day.
Goal for April is to tighten up my eating. I’d like to focus on more plant-based foods and less sugar/processed snacks. I’m going to try to focus on stopping eating when I’m full too. I have way to many meals (or all) where I eat until I’m stuffed.
It’s great to see so many new faces here this month!

I don't normally eat anything in the morning on my active recovery days other than my protein shake but I caved this morning. Knocked myself out of a treat after dinner tonight. Bleh.

No work today since it's good friday. So I took advantage with a 5 mile run. 30 mins with bec's british pop run. followed up with an old olivia 30 min edm run. both were good and hard. It's funny, they say light run and i feel like i am jogging. i look at my time and it is not where i expect it, in the 12's for a jog...it's in the low 10's. what???!! lol. maybe all my training is paying off. we shall see, I have a live 5k on Sunday! I am overly excited and may buy some easter gear to wear during the run today! I followed both runs up with 10 min yoga focus hips - it was intermediate and i couldn't do like 4 poses. but i still stretched. Food today is a crap shoot; just going to follow cnf and try not to eat like an asshole. I am also going shopping for myself and DD for easter outfits / sandals. My mom told me a few days ago we will be doing family photos so now i am tying to coordinate!

Morning, guys! I didn't get to post yesterday. I did 20 min glutes/legs with Robin, 10 min glutes/legs with Adrian, 10 min core with Selena, and 20 min rock ride with Hannah C. Food was eh, but I'm on spring break. Breakfast was normal, but then I went shopping and out to lunch with a friend. Had a nice stout and tofu "wings" which is a better choice than I would have made in the past. They were really good. Dinner was turkey kielbasa, roasted veggies, and Trader Joes sweet potato gnocchi. We had some friends over last night (all vaccinated) to taste some new beers that we got shipped to PA from CA, and had snacks too. So that obviously wasn't a great health choice but it was fun!
I am down .5 lbs today but I suspect some of that may be dehydration from the beer last night, but I'm logging it in WW nonetheless lol. Today I'm going on a mini bar crawl of sorts. A few girlfriends and I like to get cocktails-to-go from a couple places and just walk around town. Exercise and booze, win win. I am going to do the arms HCOF stack before I go (I moved everything up on the calendar a day). Not sure about food tonight yet but I imagine it'll be takeout or eating out.

I would be at too many calories for the day. Which is obviously an option. Just not the one I chose.

Morning.
Another rough night with kids last night and I'm feeling cranky today and the girls are just at each other.
20 minute EDM run with Selena 20 minute glutes and legs with Robin 10 minute post run stretch with Robin 5 minute lower body stretch with Selena
My watch wouldn't connect to my HRM so I paused my run like a minute in to figure it out. Then after that my watch wouldn't record my distance and was telling me I was running like a 25 minute mile. I had to stop and start a few times to get everything working together. I added the extra distance I picked up doing all of this at the end after my workout uploaded, so I got 2.5 miles, but my gosh, nothing would work for me this morning.
I called peloton too and my bike delivery isn't until April 13 and there weren't any earlier delivery dates available. That's like a full week longer than originally slated for when we ordered back in January. So now I'm cranky about that too.
I did opt out of mcdonald's breakfast with H and the girls this morning since we had to drop him off at work. Big plus there because while I dislike their regular food, I love me a good greasy breakfast sandwich. Going to stay the course again today and do some food prep and precooking in a bit here.
I need coffee and a nap.

Sorry about your bike, cnf. Supposedly my NT treadmill is slated to be shipped on 4/9 but even though I have stayed loyal to the brand, I know they aren't the greatest with date promises. It also still takes another couple of weeks after that to get it. Not to mention this time I get to hire a separate company to come haul out the incline trainer, because NT's policy is they will come in and assemble, but not haul out because that's a risk of virus spread. Um. So it's ok if you bring the virus IN, as long as you don't take it OUT. Got it. Eye roll.

Did yesterday's HCOTF stack in a grassy outdoor area by my hotel room and convinced my friend to join me. It was hot but felt great and was beautiful with the desert and mountain view. 15 min pilates with Aditi 20 min yoga (floor poses) with KM 10 min sun salutations with Aditi
I head home today so will probably do a tread run and HCOTF this evening.

No workout for me today, at least not yet. I logged into my work computer earlier this morning to finish up my paper for class and get it submitted and suddenly didn't have access to all of my shared drives. And of course all of my class stuff is saved on my personal drive. So I panicked and had to drive into work to have IT remap it. All is good now and the paper is done and submitted. Phew.
It's cold, but sunny today, so I might try to get out for a walk. I've had great workouts this week though, so if it's a full rest day, no biggie.
MH has been smoking a huge brisket since midnight last night, so tonight's dinner is going to be awesome. I can't wait.

Is anyone doing the verzuz challenge on peloton? I feel like 1998 me would have been pumped about this matchup. 2021 me is wondering if we could get more current artists.
