I've never heard of strathberry bags. I feel like I should sit in the corner or something.

tgrimes I always lurk the bag threads and have bought more bags from brands I didn’t know existed before reading there. Literally just last week I bought a Portland leather bag that apparently are super popular brand I had never heard of before.

I should do laser hair removal. I did it years ago (like in the early 2000s) but I think you're not supposed to do it till you're done having kids. I think I need to do it again. I just worry I won't stick to it and so I won't get good results. I really have a hard time prioritizing things for myself. I’m getting impatient. I started then covid, so I started all over again when they opened up. I’m 7 treatments in and I feel like my results should be better by now for the amount of money I have spent. I go every 6 weeks and May will be the year mark. How long did/how many treatments did it take you the first time around? ETA: vino It only took you 4 treatments?

I honestly don’t remember how many I did. 4? I’m not sure. I talked to my friend tonight who works for a dermatologist and she said that the results really depend on the practitioner and the type of laser they use

lahdeedah I have done 4 in the past, it wasn’t completely done but it was close, I’m sure if had done 2-3 more it would have been done and then just the maintenance ( I think she said 1 maybe 2 times a year), which is key according to my laser lady. I can say for sure that I have less hair than before the treatments, and I’ve been exfoliating my pits(maybe TMI) and that’s made a huge difference overall And yes jewels is right, it’s the person’s hair and laser so unfortunately you dont really know unless you start and see what happens.

I want to try a different place, but I have 3 more treatments paid for. She told me it usually takes 6-8 treatments and for some people up to 10, but I don’t see how in 3 more treatments it all will be gone when I’ve seen very little progress the last 2-3 times. I think they will let me use my credits for other things like facials and what not, so maybe I can do that and resume my treatments elsewhere.

lahdeedah I would probably do that then start with a new place when you move. My friend suggested going to a dermatologist office rather than a med spa.

I'm sure it's fine lahdeedah. B/c of what she does, she's definitely very picky about these things. But I figure I might as well do what she suggests!

My friend is getting 1 free session of cool sculpting by someone who is learning how to do it. I’d love to try it but I think it’s a lot of money and my friend isn’t sure she will even see results from 1 session.
If I were spending money on myself, I would probably want to get good makeup and learn how to apply it. I just by stuff at the grocery store since I don’t know how to use it anyway. I would also for sure do a spa day/weekend. It’s on my list of things to do 2 weeks from now when this vaccine is working.

Another vote for shallow selfish spending. LOL.
A few months back I bought 1ml of volbella for my under eyes. It was maybe $700? I still have bags but they're so much better! But I only used maybe 0.7ml so she used the extra in my lips. I have super thin lips so while they are still small, my upper lip no longer disappears when I smile. That probably does more to knock years off my face than the under eye treatment. I definitely will do it again later this year.

You can text them to me if you don't want to share on the interwebs.
