Weeks Pregnant: 18 +4
Baby is the Size of a: sweet potato
Appointments: 3/25 anatomy/high risk appointment, can’t remember my other atm
Team? Green/blue/pink? Pink
Rants/Raves? I’m drawing a blank right now lol
How are you feeling? Pretty good. Still bleeding. Still no answers, so hoping my high risk doctor will know something?
GTKY: what’s your favorite animal? Cats. I’m that person.

Weeks Pregnant: 17w4d
Baby is the Size of a: pomegranate
Appointments: 3/29 for anatomy scan
Team? Green/blue/pink? Blue
Rants/Raves? I am Covid positive. I’m so angry. My SS was dropped off while feverish (mom said it was a cold) and when DH had him tested the same day he was positive. I got sick two days later and am still really sick. High fever, congestion, fatigue, slight cough. I passed out on Sunday and landed in the ER for stitches and fluids. Baby is thankfully ok and I got a bonus ultrasound. DS woke up with a fever this morning and he has an autoimmune condition so I’m a mess.
How are you feeling? Awful. I’m so scared of bad effects from this. I’m also so angry at DHs ex wife. She has no regard for anyone else.
GTKY: what’s your favorite animal? Penguins!

Weeks Pregnant: 16 + 2
Baby is the Size of a: avocado
Appointments: 3/11
Team? Green/blue/pink? Blue
Rants/Raves? I keep having sharp pains usually in different spots of my stomach (usually lower but sometimes on the top area of my stomach) and it’s driving me crazy. I don’t remember this with my last pregnancy and it’s anxiety inducing to not know what is going on.
How are you feeling? I’m ok. I’m in a bit of a funk. H and I got into a stupid argument Saturday and I’m still having a hard time shaking it. Other than that and the sharp pains I’m feeling pretty good.
GTKY: what’s your favorite animal? Domestic- dogs, wild land animal- sloth, wild sea animal- manatee.

skategirl128, omg I am so sorry! What a nightmare. I am so glad you and baby are doing okay. I hope you feel better soon. I would be so pissed. mrspants maybe just round ligament pain? I have more of that this time around as well. I think maybe because I am not gaining weight at the speed to keep up with how big my bump is getting? Absolutely not a problem I had with my previous two, lol. onyx I am sorry you're still bleeding. I hope your doc has some insight. I almost wrote "I hope your dog has some insight." I don't think a dog's insight would be helpful.

Weeks Pregnant: 19 + 5
Baby is the Size of a: zucchini
Appointments: Thursday I have my 20 week appt- halfway!
Team? Green/blue/pink? Green
Rants/Raves? Rant: still not feeling great. Rave: it was my bday on Friday, and we went to the mountains for a weekend getaway. It was the four of us plus MIL. I love my MIL so I liked having her there, and she is still staying at the house. DD1 and H went skiing (DD1 is getting so good already at 7 years old! I am excited to ski with her next year), and we found a playground to entertain DD2.
How are you feeling? Meh. Better than I was 10 weeks ago, but not great.
GTKY: what’s your favorite animal? I am a dog person! We don't currently have one though, because 2.5 kids is enough to keep my hands full. The dog in my profile pic is Toby, who died when DD1 was 1.

thatgolfb I’m hoping that’s all it it. I’m planning on asking Thursday just for peace of mind. Last time I would have sharp pains/burning in my groin/hip area and had to wear a support band but this time it’s all over the place and not consistent.
It’s been so long since I was last pregnant I feel like a ftm sometimes.

onyx everything crossed that your high risk doc has some answers for you. skategirl128 I’m so sorry for the covid. I really hope your illness is short lived and your other family members are okay too. DS’s dad (we have 50/50 custody) is really lax on being careful and I know that rage. I would be pissed at your DH’s ex wife too.

Weeks pregnant: 19 + 4
Baby is the size of a: mango
Appointments: anatomy scan 3/19 and OB 4/8
Team? Green/pink/blue? Intended dads are having a boy. Blue!
Rants/raves: nothing today.
How are you feeling? I’m starting to feel large and having some lower back pain. Also some heartburn. Overall nothing too terrible but I’m nervous that I’m having this feelings start and I’m only halfway!
GTKY: what’s your favorite animal? I like cats and we have one but she’s not very friendly which is a bummer for me.

skategirl128 I am so sorry. I hope you feel better soon. I would be furious too. My XH is pretty inconsiderate that way as well. mrspants I swear with every pregnancy I get new pains. Fx it’s just RLP. thatgolfb maybe not, but it made me laugh either way. Then again I keep getting “I don’t know” from doctors so she may have better insight. I’m headed back to the ER, because I woke up soaked in blood. Through a pad and everything. Then bleeding through to this morning. Took the kids to school and called my OB waiting for a call back. I went out on a limb and called MFM and they said since my referral doesn’t mention bleeding they can’t do anything with it. So also going to ask my OB to send a new referral with STAT appointment requested.

onyx I’m so sorry you are head back to the ER. Do you by chance have a clotting disorder/on blood thinners? When I had bleeding with my daughters pregnancy it was because my blood was too thin from my thinners. I hope that your OB can get that referral in to the MFM quickly and you can be seen sooner.

They’ve tested me for practically every blood/clotting disorder they can think of and it’s all come back negative. I’m at the ER now and I have an OB follow up at 8:30 tomorrow.

The only conclusion they have come to is it has to be a side effect from my medications. Even though my neurologist says no. And there is nothing to do. Baby is fine. My CBC is still fine so I don’t need a transfusion. It seems like something I just get to deal with.

I'm really sorry onyx. Even if it's just something you need to deal with, it's a sucky thing to have sprung upon you, especially during pregnancy.

friendofdobby, I am also having the lower back pain, and the SPD is becoming more prevalent on days I walk around a lot at work. It's going to be a lonnnnnng 20 weeks. More like 19 in my case, thankfully.

I went to PT sometime late in second tri or maybe early 3rd tri and she worked magic on the pelvic pain.

Weeks Pregnant: 15w5d
Baby is the Size of a: orange
Appointments: 3/16 for OB and Spina Bifida test and 4/5 for anatomy scan
Team? Green/blue/pink? Pink
Rants/Raves? Work has been super busy and stressful this past year and I really need a break. Luckily we have a 4 day weekend for Easter coming up so I have something to look forward to.
How are you feeling? I'm not having a lot of symptoms except exhaustion and being out of breath. Makes me worried.
GTKY: what’s your favorite animal? Dogs. We have a 10 year old Lhasa Apso and a 10 year old Belgian Malinois that is a retired military dog.

It was so bad last time, and ended up lingering until, well, I got pregnant again 3 years later. Like it got better, but I still couldn't do lunges without feeling twinges of it (which is fine because lunges suck anyway, hah). I actually think it may not be quite as bad as last time, yet. It's hard to tell. I weigh less right now at 20 weeks than I did when I got pregnant with DD2 (I just haven't really gained much yet, it's definitely the nausea, and I started at a lower weight anyway), so I think that's the only reason it isn't worse already.

All of my 2nd tri blood work and anatomy scan turned out to be good news, not much to worry about.
I cannot believe that I am more than halfway now. It's exciting. And nerve wracking. I should probably like... prepare, or something. We need some new things this time around because car seats expired, the main stroller was not very usable, etc.
Maybe I should start a baby gear thread, even though I think we are all at least second timers. I still feel new. lol.

Highly recommend the PT route. It really helped even after my first visit. I’m going to have to go back for pelvic floor PT after this pregnancy.
