I've had good luck with a.n.a tees from JCP. Also, I find nude bras under white tops are much less noticeable than white bras, IME.

I’ve found basic Hanes white T-shirt’s are best.

No, deeper v. The olds wear these hanes undershirts that the v would go down to a dudes belly but on women they sit perfect to not show too much chest but still flatter. Younger men must not wear them because they're super hard to find. I'm not even sure they're made anymore.

What kind of tennis shoes are you guys wearing with dresses? I love it on other people, but I feel like I can’t pull it off myself. I was gifted these Rothy's sneakers, but any similarly styled shoe would also be cute. rothys.com/products/the-sneaker-sandI have the Target version of these and they are super comfy. They were just one of the Target brands and now I can’t find them! Boo.

STP I generally hate dresses too. I stick with nice looking jeans or pants/shorts and blouses most of the time. Mostly from Loft. ETA and shells for summer. I wear a Spanx nude or black cami underneath to help keep my bits in a bit, and they are super flattering. I also like Athleta skorts for a more casual look.

Athleta skorts go on sale a lot too, you just have to keep an eye out.

I can only do white tees or blouses with the nude camisole underneath. Blouses seem to work but I still haven’t found the perfect white tee.

I bought a couple madewell and everlane tees last year and I like them. They suit my box-ish frame better than most and aren't clingy.

Do you do dresses at all? I live in tank/tshirt dresses in the summer. Can be worn with wedges, tennis shoes, everything I think I need to get over my aversion to them. I have to wear shorts/leggings under bc of thigh rub (no matter what I do, my thighs are legion). But I am going to have a lot of dog walking this spring/summer and spending my days in old running shorts/tanks isn't it for me. I don't like the way I feel. I suffer the curse of the curvy hourglass. It sounds exciting until you realize comfortable clothing kind of hugs and draps in ways that just make you look...shlubby. Naked, it's all breathtaking, of course. I like loose linen short style. You can’t go wrong with an elastic waistband, and they are a step nicer than running shorts. www.jcrew.com/p/womens_category/shorts/3inch/seaside-short-in-linen-blend/J2325?color_name=frosty-aquaLast year JCrew factory also had similar ones online. These will 100% go on sale.

I’ve been buying these forever and they’re my favorite! Bonus, if you’re super tall like me, they come in Tall length so they tuck in nicely or go over top my pants/shorts. And the long sleeve version have sleeves actually long enough for me.

I bought new EVA (foam) Birkenstock Arizonas, a denim jacket, and a Lands End mom swimsuit and now I’m set through summer. I’m on the lookout for a new sun hat. Last year I mostly wore a baseball cap but I’d like something brimmed and casual but too fedora looking. If anyone has seen something cute and cheap, do share. I love hats from Sunday Afternoons. Its a great company and the quality is exceptional. A lot of the straw ones are packable. I have the Cayman hat: www.sundayafternoons.com/p/cayman-hat/ and the Coronado hat: www.sundayafternoons.com/p/coronado-hat/And also some truckers.

I wear the Madewell V tees also, they are more flattering on my frame. I lay them flat to dry but they still get tiny holes and then I use them for sleep. Or cut the sleeves and use as a yoga tank.

I'm generally a casual dresser and it's hot and humid here so I always have on flip flops. I just ordered some new Alo 7/8 leggings and their Daze shorts.
I also ordered some 2 in 1 running shorts to wear working out or biking. They have a phone pocket!
Dresses just aren't my thing so maybe a new skort or T shirt dress.

I will need to get a lot of new spring clothes. With not being at work last spring, I got to skip buying a new size in everything because I'd gained weight. SHOCKER, I didn't lose any of it. So I still need business casual looks in something that fits. I'm a jeans and tee kinda person, so work clothes kill me.

I just bought these jeans and the crop top in neon yellow. Which is weird because I’ve never bought a crop top or anything in neon yellow before. But for ten bucks, I can be adventurous! It is a really nice crop length. When I tried them on together there was just a peek of skin in the front and it covered my sides and back right to the waistband. I thought about buying the pink as well. byjove saw a picture of me in them and approved so I am going to say it was a good look

On me, I mean. I carry my weight in my mid section. I'm kind of the same, I just have very little (re: no) definition to my body from my shoulders down. I might as well be a tree trunk. But I love their northside vintage tee. Finding the right basic tee is such a crapshoot, though. So individual. I wanted to cry when everything started to lean more to a cropped look.

I ordered a skort and a pair of shorts from Athleta last night. Also a couple of pairs of plain slip on Keds. I'm (truly shockingly to me) tired of wearing leggings and want to put a bit more effort in this spring/summer but still be comfy.

I haven’t bought anything yet but I really need to. I’m still 20 lbs over pre-preg weight and want some tunic tops and flowey dresses. We’re going non form fitting this year.
So, if anyone has any affordable options of the above I’m all ears

Well thanks to this thread and boredom I bought the blue swing dress pobre posted yesterday and same one in black. Plus a white v neck t-shirt. I’m hoping the swing dress works because I’ve tried past iterations and the shape wasn’t great on me
