Yes, this is my 3rd post about budgets this year. This is holding me accountable for keeping my tracking updated at least twice a month, and hopefully a few others as well. Let’s admit 2020 sucked. We are all still trying to survive and things are still not back to normal. How was February? Any goals for March? If it sucked last month, today is a new day.

We decreased our food spending significantly in February compared to January. I’d like to do even better in March. We also decreased our spending in the “material items” and “entertainment” categories of my spreadsheet.

February was awesome for us. So much so I need to go back and make sure I actually entered everything.
Groceries are still high, I need to cut my alcohol this month. And I need to organize recipes better. I have so many recipes online, but then I forget where they are and end up searching for them.
We should call a contractor this week regarding the expansion and remodel. My husband is still insisting on moving. He thinks moving is going to be this simple cheap option. I don’t think he realizes how expensive hiring a move no company will be (along with other costs).
I just want to smack him and tell him we agreed to work with an architect first stop trying to jump to the next step before we weigh all the options.
Anyway, goal in March
1. Meal plan better 2. Call a contractor and architect

How is it going?
I entered my expenses today because I got my annual bonus (not as much as last year, but still happy we had a decent year).
I prepaid my CSA and we ordered a row machine. But I still think we are under our regular budget.

Bump! Review those expenses and figure out your gains! Excluding bonuses, we did not meet our savings goal. But if we didn’t have the emergency vet bill we would have. Oh well, can’t help that one.
