I had an eventful day. Baby girl did not pass her NST this morning so we got sent to labor and delivery to be monitored. Once we got hooked up she started bouncing around like crazy and after two hours of her looking good they decided to send me home. Of course I’m worried and paranoid now. I go back on Wednesday and I’ll be 40 weeks so I think we are going to make a plan to evict her in the next week if she doesn’t decide to come on her own. Ugh, sorry for the rough day! I didn't pass one of my NSTs last week and had to make a trip to L&D as well. I'm glad your girl looked good once you got there, little stinker! Come on baby girl, your mama would like to snuggle you! |

You all are making me jealous. I still have a month to go 😭 Hoping for smooth deliveries! My OB has decided I was misdiagnosed with GD, and said I could drop down to two finger pokes a day rather than four, but I still need to stick to the diet just in case. I was so glad I was wearing a mask. If that doctor could have seen my face when she said “misdiagnosed.” Oh I'd be PISSED. |

strawberrykiki what a day! I hope she decides to come soon. Sending you lots of labor vibes. As for me, I’m 37+ weeks and so so tired. I’ve got a growth ultrasound Wednesday since I make big babies and my OB wants to see what we’re working with, and if baby girl doesn’t show up by 39 weeks (Easter weekend) we’ll start talking about an induction.

Rama She said the fasting numbers are usually the biggest concern since you don’t really have any control over that number, and my numbers have been in the 70s everyday since mid-February. It’s supposed to be below 90. After meals, I’ve had some high numbers here and there, but if it’s high it’s usually in the 130s, and I’m supposed to be under 120 so not that high. Most of the time if it’s high, it’s because I knowingly made a poor meal choice.

All my fasting numbers were 70s and 80s, 2hr postprandials were all below 120 with an occasional high when I really felt "fuck it"y. Even had some sub-70 dips, but nooooooo. pbandj714, hope you and baby are doing well! Post an update when you can!  I'm STILL pregnant, what a rude little baby in there that I'm now 4 days overdue with no signs of her coming AT ALL. I've had a few cramps here and there, but nothing consistent, no mucus plug, nada! I have an appointment tomorrow at 12:30. They're going to do an NST, check fluid levels, and see if I've made any progress since last week, but the plan is to induce me on Tuesday morning when I'll be 40&6. I am really hoping for a VBAC so I'm pretty disappointed it's going to come to an induction, but my midwife team is super supportive and I'm glad I have a chance to be induced instead of going right to a repeat c-section. Please send me any and all labor vibes this little chick decides to come out before Tuesday morning!

I have my last OB appt on Friday morning and am getting COVID tested tomorrow in preparation for an induction Saturday morning. Hopefully baby girl stays in until then because the timing would work great for us- the big kids have a long weekend due to the holiday and my mom (who’s a wonderful helper) is coming into town thurs night or early afternoon Friday.
If baby comes earlier we’d have to rely on my in-laws who don’t know much about the kids (dd2 is so wary of them still) and they’d also be dealing with school drop off/pick ups. So much extra work for all of us that way. Fingers crossed everything goes according to my plan 😆

sundog I hope everything works out! These babies have a mind of their own though! I’m at the hospital now. They placed a a Cook’s and I am having lots of contractions. I already got some pain medicine but they are still painful. I hope like hell this means it’s working. I want this VBAC so badly guys. They’ll take it out in a few hours and we will see if it worked and decide what’s next from there. I can’t wait to meet my baby!
