Also, the same people who say Harry and Meghan should never defend themselves publicly are the same ones leaking a “shes a bully” story.
I wouldn’t even be surprised if she and Harry could both be difficult at times. Harry especially has shown multiple times that he is pretty out of touch (like the rest of his family). But I don’t think she would be this awful bully. When the story first came out and people asked for details, it was “she sends emails in the morning!” And “she had ideas and wants work to move forward!”

I feel like we've had the bully story before. And a "source close to Meghan" said that it's because she was ready to work, she expected them to be ready, too. Her days started early and blah blah blah, but they were used to Kate who wanted to not really do anything.

I see a lot of concern that the complaint originated with Jason Knauf, who is strongly suspected of being one of the leakers. He has close connections to Dan Wootton, a very anti-Meghan reporter who has had several stories leaked to him, particularly the fact that Harry and Meghan were leaving the royal family. After he published a story about it, they released their statement. They get all the blame for blindsiding the palace, and whoever leaked the story gets almost none of it.

American Black woman when black powerful women are considered aggressive and angry yeap. A white man would have been called assertive and a strong leader I guarantee that Charles is not a peach to work for. Wills either

Is this article really THIS messy?! I’m about to pay for a subscription to the Times to see what the fuck is happening in here. They were messy from the get go so nothing would surprise me.

She was ready to work because she knew if she didn't work the golddigger claims would really be bad.
I am sure she expected work from her staff and everyone has bad days so I am not saying she couldn't have had a day where she was snappy or whatever. My boss who is the most laidback nicest person has days where I stay in my office because nope.
I also can say with 100% certainty that women are read in a tone, especially from men, but Black women are read in a tone times 1000 so she could have easily just said hey tomorrow is our event where is the itinerary and they were all oh she is being mean doesn't she know these things take time why does she have to yell.

yeap. A white man would have been called assertive and a strong leader I guarantee that Charles is not a peach to work for. Wills either Charles reportedly makes his staff take his preferred toilet seat when he travels and install it where he's staying. Wills reportedly makes his staff bow/curtsy every time they see him throughout the day where most of the royals only do the first time they see them in any day. The Queen reportedly only cancelled her Sandringham Christmas this year after much of her staff was upset about being asked to quarantine and not be able to see their own family for almost a month at the holiday time. All of these are examples that could be spun as being difficult employers, but they all get a pass or it is treated as a joke. I think almost anyone who is successful in a career as competitive as acting is forceful and a strong personality. But the reports from people who've actually worked with Meghan are that she is kind and thoughtful. So I don't doubt she had high standards and rubbed people the wrong way, but I think a lot of it boils down to a new member of the family, who is both a woman and biracial, was never going to be accepted by certain people in the palace. Had she been quiet and demure, they would have preferred that. But that isn't who she is.

So my local morning radio does an entertainment spot and they talked about Meghan's statement. They said The Buckingham Palace has not responded, but they are busy with Prince Phillip

Also the guy was saying how he did research on her court case and how great her lawyers were because they made it that the apology they have to print for her has to be on the same page, same size font, and same amount of space. LOVING IT!
The other woman said how convenient that this can leak and yet Prince Andrew's stories have been so quiet lately. It is almost like the Palace has control over what stories come out people. I love her

And the stupid thing is they know they aren't going to do a full call out in that interview. They are making themselves look shady and petty and in the end it would be for nothing. Meghan and Harry are not going to be throwing hate around in that interview because they are smart enough to know it won't go well for them and they are still family.

Yup, the only people who are going to buy this bullshit are the people already dog whistling all over the place and whine about how they can't criticize Meghan without being accused of racism. although that unfortunately is many people

I liked all this. I really liked that part about how if she was really terrible to work with we would know it by now because she has worked for a long time in the industry and with different non profits

Everyone has lost their minds. I even saw someone saying they put Phil in the hospital to deflect from the Oprah interview. Like he’s at a spa waiting for Monday.

Here's a great twitter thread about *the earrings* and how Meghan was likely set up, and the very active history of the current line taking gobs of gifts from the Saudis and how insanely hypocritical they all are. It also has my favorite line lambasting the crown "obvious PR is obvious." In case anyone is interested in positive MM twitter

I would put money on Meghan being the easiest Royal to work with. I can’t imagine how demanding and insufferable the rest are

I didnt know specific examples but all I can think about is the dumbass shit the rest of the Royal family thinks they're entitled to ask for because of who they are It's just a little, pot meet kettle

There’s just, a zero percent chance Meghan had any idea about the earrings weird provenance. If she did she wouldn’t have worn them. Period. AS IF she wore them as some sort of shoe of support of the Saudi guy. I mean... come on.

“I’m going to wear these awesome earrings because Mohammed bin Salman seems like a solid dude I’d like to show my support for.” - No one ever.
The narrative is bonkers.
