Do any of you do your own nails?
If you do, what are your favorite products for mani/pedi, nail polish brands, process for home mani/pedi and you tube tutorials?
I do all my stuff at home because I definitely think I can do just as good of a job for way cheaper.
I'd love to see pics of your finished nails!
I'm completely a nail addict and love all nail porn 💅

I've done my own mani/pedis forever. Essie is my fav nail polish brand. Although, H got me a cover girl polish when they did the Star Wars line and it's freaking great. I'd love to try butter and some of the other more expensive polishes one day.
My favorite trick is to polish my nails at night (no base coat, light coat of color, dry 20 minutes, heavier coat of color, dry 20 minutes, Essie good to go). When I'm polishing, I don't worry about getting polish on my skin, the next morning I just shower and scrub off any errant polish with a nail brush or a rough washcloth. Low stress and I always get compliments.

I usually get my nails done at the salon. However, I have heard really good things about Sally Hansen Miracle gel.

I'm an Essie girl. I love their colors and they last a decent amount of time before they start to chip. Their Good to Go fast drying top coat is awesome.
I just buy any old 4-in-1 buffing block from the drugstore.

I get my nails done at a salon now but before I had kids I would give myself weekly manicures on Sunday and a polish change on Wednesday. I love OPI, Essie, Deborah Lippmann and Butter London for polishes. Butters Nail Foundation is a great base coat and I used Seche Vita for my top coat.
I miss doing my own nails but I also like just letting someone else do them for me.

I do my own. Manis and pedis - although I do splurge now and then for a pedi.
At home, my fav polishes are OPI and Essie. I almost prefer Essie bc the applicator brush is smaller and some colors seem more opaque after one coat.
For care, tweezerman nail clippers are my fav. Other brands I've tried leave my nails feeling jagged. I have a cuticle pusher and knife tool. Love it. I don't know the brand, I'll look and report back. I also have a cuticle cream - it's called "healthy hoof cream" with a horse on the package. It's thick and wonderful. I believe you can find it on Amazon and for relatively cheap.

I really like Pa nail polish (also known as Dear Laura pa polish). It's expensive in the USA because it's a Japanese brand, but if you are up for something different that has some texture/sparkle - this brand really has the consistency figured out. It dries quickly too. You can get a few shades on Amazon or other Japanese cosmetics websites. Here is some Pa nail porn for you 😀

Are those your nails Taitai? They look great, like a professional did them!

Are those your nails Taitai? They look great, like a professional did them! I wish they were mine, but I got those from google images. I do have the light blue with navy speckle (first photo), and when I do my nails myself - it turns out pretty much like that photo. I don't think I'm good at doing nails - the polish is just really easy to work with. I think the quick drying formula helps!

It chipped off faster than regular polish on me. I use the Miracle Gel in Bordeaux Glow as my go-to polish. It usually lasts me about 1.5 weeks with light wear on the tips.

Before DS, I took care of everything at home.
I'm a sucker for gel polish. It's self leveling and really forgiving. I use the Harmony brand. I wish I had more time to devote to it.
