We went sledding for 1.5 hours this afternoon and then I did a quick snow shovel. I saw some pretty snow pictures from my family in your state. Glad it’s finally warmer to actually enjoy it!

jaygee 55 burpees?!?! That’s 50 more than I have done ever. There’s some yoga flow that is essentially a burpee and I failed that too.

It’s the start of phase 3 of the 90 day challenge and I feel like there was a big jump up from phase 2 if it’s going to continue that way. I’m going to be a mess tomorrow.

I got in a 3.5 mile run this morning, kept my eating in check, drank 112oz of water, and did all my food prep for the week. I have my whole day plugged into MFP already for tomorrow too. I really need to get my eating situated.

I'm starting a sugar (added & artificial) detox tomorrow with a starting goal of 3 days to see how it goes. I'm so low energy lately and I somehow managed to put on 4-5 lbs in Valentine candy in a week. They must go.
Other goal this week, in addition to upping water intake and getting in 6k steps/ day, is to get on the rower at least every other day- even if it's only 10 minutes each time.
Today, I managed to hit the 6k mark and over a bit, thanks to some unexpected Home Depot walking when our washing machine died.

Temperature and time to bake? This sounds amazing! 425, and I ended up baking them for 20 minutes, but the recipe tells you to bake for however long it takes for your egg preference. I like firm whites and runny yolks. I put salt on the avocado, then again on the egg. Then cayenne. Side note: I’d already sliced lines in one half in prep for scooping it out before I decided it was too hard. That one was softer and tasted better than the half I didn’t slice. Also I scooped a little out of the middle because I had extra large eggs. Oh my oldest would love this

*googles plantar fasciitis*
Huh. I'm pretty sure I know this feeling. I have only been able to wear old lady shoes since my first pregnancy (dankso, birkenstocks, etc.). If you see a girl running around in sweat pants and socks with sandal birkenstocks this winter, it's me.

Currently googling best shoes for Tailors Bunions because mine is hurting so bad right now. I have the vionic slippers ordered and those are arriving this week. I couldn't even get my feet into my normal work shoes this morning and am wearing some skechers.

I did BBM day 64 today. It was strength focused on back and biceps. Did a 10 minute yoga for self care. Hoping to be productive enough today to quit work at 4:30 ish for a walk with the dogs.

jaygee, which BBM challenge are you doing? I had success with one of her programs in 2018 and you've got me thinking about trying again.

Me too. In pink, which seems right up dc2london’s alley. 🤣 They’re also great for after you roll an ankle.

She has a new one going right now (10.0) but it started about 2 weeks after I wanted to start so I just picked an older one. I also had success with her programs in the past and choose to do it because I was doing nothing for exercise and needed something that was consistently 20 minutes only. But tbh I’m hating it. I mean, I’m liking exercising again and I like the 20 minutes part, but she’s driving me nuts and I’m now questioning the quality of her training. I know I can’t be too picky for the grand old price of free, but I’m moving on when I’m done with this one.

I Want Sugar So Bad! 😭😭😭
Lordy, this is hard.
On the other hand, I've already hit my water intake goal and my steps because I'm finding myself desperate to distract from the craving.

I couldn't even get my feet into my normal work shoes this morning and am wearing some skechers. I don't have specific shoe advice, but I have wonky pinky toes (if I'm not careful they would absolutely go bunion, but mostly they lay rolled to the side, kind of.) That outside joint can get a-g-g-r-a-v-a-t-e-d. I got some silicone toe stretchers and they have helped! In general I buy shoes with a wide toe box. Merrell and Keen are go-tos for athletic. Lane Bryant has nice sandals and such that are wide, too.

I did the peloton 30 minute pop ride with Cody from last Tuesday 2/16 (his first ride back from having Covid). The playlist was 🔥🔥🔥. I burned like 175 cals, and I got off feeling pretty good.

I just went for a 45 minute walk outside which is the most physical activity I've gotten in an embarrassing amount of time.

Has anyone had success eating an anti-inflammatory diet? I did the AIP for about 6 months a few years back, for a few different reasons. It didn’t help me much, partly because I later found out I’m sensitive to some of the staple AIP foods. I was already mostly paleo (easiest with DD2’s food allergies at the time), so it wasn’t completely daunting. There are so many great recipes- I actually still make several since I loved them so much. Highly recommend this cookbook- it’s all AIP. I also have an e-cookbook by one of the authors from the one pictured, I can dig it up if you’re interested.

I got roller skates so I could skate with my D. I just need the snow to melt first! I keep seeing this as the preview pic and it makes me want a pair so bad! But then I bit it this weekend while walking and my knee is a nice shade of black and I’m like I’d probably need all of the pads and that sounds less fun 🤪

I still need to get some knee/wrist pads. I skated in my house (because I own the place and I can do that lol) and did ok, but being outside is another story. Currently trying to find some low traffic areas where no one will see me make an ass of myself.

I was 80/20 paleo for a long time so it might not be so bad to go back if they’re similar. I’m gunna miss dairy so much 😭

I did BBM + yoga with Adrienne yesterday and today. My body is tired but I’m taking a rest day tomorrow. Hope to get in a walk with the dogs this evening. They’ve been enjoying my renewed focus on steps.
